The apartment has a lovely private terrace for sun bathing and alfresco dining with superb views over the surrounding area. It has been refurbished with new sofa bed and dining tables and chairs both indoors and out. It has a New TV with free view and satellite stations in English and Spanish. It is ideal for a couple but the addition of a sofa bed makes for flexibility in the sleeping arrangements. There is an efficient air conditioning unit in the cosy living room which will cool the whole apartment. There is also a large parasol for the sun terrace.
The kitchen has a gas hob and electric oven, a fridge, a microwave oven, an electric kettle and toaster. There is plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery and pans, etc. an iron and ironing board is provided.
The apartment is cleaned prior to your arrival and after your departure and a weekly change of bed linen and towels is provided.
The double bedroom has a large double bed, with bedside tables, chest of drawers and built in wardrobe. There is a freestanding fan and a heater. It has an ensuite bathroom, with sink, bath with shower, toilet and heated towel rail. There is also a washing machine. There is a large community pool within easy walking distance which is very much the heart of the community. There is also a bar at the poolside serving drinks and light meals during the high season. There are tennis courts available for hire.
The apartment in Villotel is only a 5 minute drive (3.7km) on the Benitachell Road to the vibrant town of Moraira which has lovely beaches, cafes, restaurants and shops and a large weekly market and a large free car park.

The Valenciana region
The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Moraira is in a lush valley planted with vines. The Mountains behind the town are dramatic with orange groves and almond trees in the foothills. The coast is rocky but with sandy coves and lovely coastal footpaths.
Places to Visit
There are many places to visit just a short drive away. Javea is another coastal resort which boast a long beach lined with bars and restaurants. Sampling tapas in the bustling old town area of Benidorm is very popular with the Spanish and a great experience. Calpe has a large fishing port lined with restaurants and is a must for seafood lovers Just a few miles inland the mountains rise majestically hiding lush valleys and mountain top villages such as Guadalest. The waterfalls at Font d'Algar are well worth a visit with their cool rushing streams and shady footpaths.
It is worth mentioning that all the towns in the area have weekly outdoor markets with Moraira having one of the best on Friday mornings in the main car park.
The historic cities of Alicante and Valencia are ideal for a longer excursion.
The Moraira / Villotel area
Moraira is an attractive small resort in the heart of the Costa Blanca. It is 80 kms north of Alicante airport and 110kms south of Valencia airport and just 20 minutes drive from the A7 motorway.
It has grown from a fishing village to a small but exclusive year round holiday destination popular with visitors from all over Europe. Although the fishing port is still thriving there is now an impressive marina packed with yachts and a large variety of restaurants bars and shops to satisfy the tastes of visitors and residents alike. Strict planning laws have prevented the building of high rise hotel and apartment blocks which has resulted in Moraira retaining the charm of its fishing village heritage and sets it apart from other Costa Blanca resorts.
The restaurants in Moraira and the surrounding area cater for all tastes. Most are typically Spanish in character serving traditional dishes and superb sea food and most offering excellent value for money. Other restaurants offer a more international cuisine and of course many of the inviting bars serve snacks throughout the day.
Although Moraira is much more than a Spanish beach resort its 2 main sandy beaches are excellent and have been awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness. As an alternative there are many rocky coves along the coast offering secluded bathing opportunities in the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean
Moraira enjoys an enviable climate with an average of 325 sunny days each year supporting its claim to be an all year round resort. The World Health Organisation have said that the climate in this part of the Costa Blanca is one of the most equitable in the world.
