Our apartment has been newly painted inside for 2013. It has two bedrooms, a double and a twin, a family bathroom, with bath and shower. A spacious lounge and a modern fitted, well-equipped kitched and dining area. Outside is a private patio garden and terrace, with garden furniture and a new barbeque for your use.

Rental of this apartment will give you security wristband access to the enormous communal swimming pool which is situated just 10 metres from the apartment.

There is a cafe and bar which serves drinks and food all day during the holiday season for eating by the pool or taking back to the apartment.

La Cumbre del Sol restaurant is within walking distance and is one of the best in the area.

There is also a reasonably priced and well equipped supermarket, a bank and a cafe within walking distance.

La Cumbre Del Sol Beach (Moraig), is complete with bar and breathtaking views. The more fit and adventurous could walk down the hills to the beach.

La Cumbre Del Sol Beach (Moraig), is complete with bar and breathtaking views. The more fit and adventurous could walk down the hills to the beach. But for most it would be 4 or 5 minute drive. Alternatively the beaches of Moraira or Javea are both just a 5 to 10 minute drive, we recommend visiting all the surrounding area and sampling the beaches, bars, restaurants and markets.

The Valencian Country region

The Costa Blanca, or White Coast, is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations. The region extends 200 kilometres along the Mediterranean coast through the province of Alicante, stretching from Gandia to Torrevieja.

Visitors to the Costa Blanca are spoilt for choice, for the destinations are varied and diverse. The Costa Blanca has a resort to suit every taste. From the most bustling and cosmopolitan resorts such as Alicante itself, or Benidorm, to those which still maintain their rural air beside the sea, such as Moraira.

The stretch of coastline between Calpe and Moraira is home to a number of quiet relaxing bays. The scenery is magnificent; spectacular rocks contrasting with the high mountain backdrop. From many points the emblematic Peon de Ifach can be seen. Playa La Fustera is a quiet blue flag beach with fine sand.


Climate
July and August are hot months and the rest of the year is warm and mild; making the area ideal for a
holiday all year round.

Golf
There are many fine challenging golf courses in the area. Try the Seve Ballesteros designed championship course at Oliva or sample the delights of the course in Javea. In fact there is a great choice of courses within one hours drive of Benitachell.


Moraira

Moraira is small coastal town situated in the beautiful mountainous north-eastern tip of the Costa Blanca. The resort is conveniently placed between the airports of Alicante and Valencia (about 90km from each).

The surrounding region has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, with beautiful and unspoilt scenery and many small villages to explore.

The town itself has pleasantly grown from a small fishing village to an attractive holiday and retirement resort, retaining its considerable charm that attracts visitors from all over Europe. It's also particularly popular with Spanish holidaymakers from Madrid and Valencia.

Moraira has an impressive marina, an excellent variety of local shops, markets, harbourside fish restaurants and bars and best of all has still managed to preserve its Spanish character.

Easily reached by car are some larger towns which are well worth visiting: Javea, Calpe, Denia and Altea are all within 15km, while Benidorm is about 30km away.

There are many places of interest to see on day excursions, apart from the other coastal resorts there is also the spectacular inland and mountainous environments to discover including the wonderful mountain-top fortress of Guadalest, 'Fonts de L'Algar the magnificent waterfalls of Algar, the Vergal Safari Park near Denia, Europe's largest palm forest at Elche and the ancient city of Murcia.

Benitachell is a tranquil and picturesque village, originally an Arab outpost, with a stunning
coastline nearby, which is formed by a succession of cliffs of more than a 100m high that descend vertically into the sea. Located towards the northern end of the Costa Blanca, the village is just off the A-7 Motorway, about an hours drive from Alicante airport.

A charming Spanish village between Teulada and Javea, Benitachell has become very popular as a
place to live all year round for many foreigners. Although just five minutes drive to the beach at either Moraira or Javea, it provides the best of both worlds for those wanting a more peaceful holiday.

Places to visit include the picturesque town of Denia, the beachside towns of Javea, Moraira and Calpe.

Terra Mitica is less than 30 minutes away, and is a fantastic day out for all the family.

For the independently minded there are many miles of country roads to explore inland, dotted with little villages and historic towns.

“Clean comfortable spacious child friendly Apartment”

The apartment was clean comfortable and well equipped. Within walking distance was a well stocked reasonably priced supermarket, a Spanish Café which sells good daytime meals, and we understand has Internet connection for Customers although we did not use it. There is also a very good restaurant within walking distance. The very impressive pool is nearby, well within walking distance of the apartment and for the use of people renting or living in the apartments. In the landscaped area of the pool are Boule pitches which were very popular, as was the taverna also within the pool boundary, providing refreshments and light meals throughout the day. They also provided live open air entertainment a couple of nights during our stay. We had a wonderful relaxing time in Pueblo del la Paz, We found booking on line simple and straight forward and the Owners very friendly and helpful. We also visited some of the local markets and a Flea market which is typically Spanish and very interesting, during our 2 week stay. We have already booked our stay again this year and can't wait to do some exploring in the area. I definitely recommend a visit to this lovely apartment.
