Casa Mandian is a luxury south facing Spanish villa apartment with uninterrupted panoramic sea views, located just 10 minutes from Moraira and 5 minutes from Moraira's golden fine sandy beaches. The property is set in a tranquil cul de sac, surrounded by tropical trees and mature gardens. Guests will love swimming in our renovated private pool whilst enjoying the stunning sea views. The spacious apartment offers a large master bedroom, a large bathroom with shower, fully fitted,equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and fridge. Modern dining room/lounge with a sofa bed that provides a double bed/second bedroom, plus an additional single sofa bed/futon if required. 2 double doors lead out onto a sheltered balcony with seating and a large secluded pool/sun terrace with outside shower, ideal for all day sunbathing and al fresco dining. Good quality stylish loungers, tables and chairs, parasols, kitchen BBQ and table tennis table. All rooms enjoy a superb sea view. Wi-Fi access, UK Sat TV, DVD, ipod/iphone dock and Radio, are all included. Although there is not a washing machine there is a local launderette only 10 mins away should you require one.
Casa Mandian apartment is situated all on one level on the ground floor on the same level as the sun terrace and pool, guests have exclusive use of the pool, sun terrace and gardens during their stay. The owners live on the 1st and 2nd floors above and have their own terraces and gardens to the rear of the villa, therefore ensuring that guests can relax in comfort and privacy.
Moraira is a genuine paradise set amongst the tropical greenery of the Costa Blanca, a 1st class tourist resort with excellent facilities and services. Moraira has 8kms of coastline, 4 magnificent beaches of golden fine sand and many small picturesque rocky coves. There is an extra large master bedroom that incorporates a large king-size bed with side tables/lamps and has a matching round table with 4 chairs, pine wall to wall range of fitted wardrobes and pine sideboard unit. The modern kitchen comprises of an electric hob with extractor hood, fridge, microwave oven with grill. All of the villa apartment rooms offer stunning panoramic sea views.
A modern sofa bed in the lounge converts into a standard size double bed making a very comfortable second bedroom. There is a good size modern bathroom with shower, sink with unit underneath, wall heater, hair dryer and toilet. Modern dining room and lounge areas include beech table with 4 chairs, sofa bed, flat screen TV, UK Sky Sat Box (will take any Sky viewing card), Docking Station for iphone / ipod .DVD player with a good selection of DVD's. Wi-Fi is also available free of charge a pass code will be provided.

Access to the villa apartment is via three levels of stone steps, therefore young children will require supervision.
There is a large secluded private sun / pool terrace with superb uninterrupted sea views, to the left is Moraira town and its beautiful marina also the area of El Portet, to the right is the Penon de Ifach the symbol of the Costa Blanca. Just outside the apartment doors is a delux kitchen BBQ ideal for al fresco dining. The renovated 8m by 4m private luxury swimming pool completed in Feb 2012 is not shared and is for guest use only, it's beautiful at night too when lit. There's also a private hot and cold poolside shower. 4 modern comfortable sun loungers with parasols, plus a luxury table with 4 chairs and parasol are all provided, all of which overlook the sea. There is good off road parking available at the front of the property for one car. The well maintained tropical gardens have several different types of palm trees, exotic shrubs and plants and are set over two levels. A full size table tennis table with bats and balls is available just for guests to use on the lower garden level.
A welcome food basket can be provided on arrival if required.

The Valenciana region
Moraira is within the Alicante Province of the Costa Blanca and is roughly equal in distance from both Alicante and Valencia airports. The journey takes just over an hour, using the AP-7 motorway (toll-road) which generally carries little traffic in this area. The town is dotted with pretty villas perfectly situated between the coast with 4 fine sandy beaches, many rocky coves and the mountains of the Marina Alta.
Why not take an excursion to lively Benidorm only 30 minutes away, maybe visit the La Aventura de la Vida Sea Life Centre or Aqua Natura Family Water Park or for the really adventurous why not try Terra Mitica Theme Park. Moraira enjoys a micro climate having over 320 sunny days a year thus offering excellent all year round weather conditions with the average temperature being around 20 degrees. Fresh sea breezes ensure that it is never sweltering even in the height of Summer.Stretching midway along Spain's eastern coast, the Costa Blanca retains a very Spanish atmosphere with many picturesque fishing villages, unspoilt coves and numerous places to visit. To experience mountain villages and the real Spain you only have to drive 20 minutes inland to experience the Jalon Valley and a further 20 minutes onto the waterfalls and castle at Guadalest.
As in other parts of Spain, Fiestas and Saint's Days are celebrated here with processions and parties, fireworks, food and wine! A list of all the yearly events can be found in the information pack in the apartment. Events for 2015 include March 29th - April 6th Easter Holy Week. Moraira's fantastic and unforgettable Moors and Christians 2015 (7th -14th June) Moors landing on the beach, muskets firing and a spectacular, unforgetable, colourful parade and amazing firework display on Sunday 14th July. Festivities of Moraira (from 3rd July to 1st August) include - Festival in honor of Our Lady of the Forsaken (Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados) and “Virgen del Carmen” patron saint of sailors. Among the most moving religious ceremonies is the the maritime procession that takes place on 16th July. Also taking place 15th - 16th July “Els Bous a la Mar Fiesta” Bulls are let loose in the arena to chase after those who think they are fast enough to jump out of their way sometimes men and bulls both end up in the sea!
The Medieval Festival and Market 2015 in Teulada is 7th to 9th August it is a traditional market with musical attractions, juggling and theatre in a medieval representation around the old town of Teulada.
1st or 2nd week September - Fiesta of Moscatel in Teulada - a special celebration for the farmers at the completetion of their harvest.
The World Health Organization describes the climate in Moraira as one of the most healthiest in the world. Moraira has an average of 320 sunny days a year. You can expect sunny soft winters and warm and pleasant summers. The mountains to the North, West and South shield Moraira from the colder, wetter weather and have resulted in Moraira enjoying its own micro-climate, with temperatures typically being a couple of degrees warmer than the seasonal average and excellent all-year round weather conditions.
The Moraira area and the region is steeped in history and has easy access to the cities of Alicante and Valencia. The town has modern additions such as a new road system and buildings and has been well planned and executed by the Moraira town hall.
Enjoy many bars and coffee shops set around the beautiful marina overlooking the stunning turquoise Mediterranean Sea. Moraira has many fiestas, hand craft products, interesting shops and a weekly local market selling fresh produce, this is also great for bargain hunting. There are many well stocked supermarkets situated locally and within easy reach of the villa offering International and Spanish brands as well as a delicious range of daily baked bread and cakes. Local leisure facilities include the long established Ifach Golf Course situated conveniently just 2 minutes drive from the apartment, set within a valley overlooking the sea to the Penon de Ifach, just perfect for golfers, if you prefer tennis, there's 3 excellent hard courts available at the Ifach golf course. Access to other amenities such as "Las Antipodas Watersports" Rent & School offering all types of exciting water sports such as; Catamarans, windsurfing, kayak, canoe and paddle surfing. If scuba diving takes your fancy, the long established Scuba Moraira Dive Centre is just nearby.
This former little fishing port, Moraira is now a wonderful very tranquil town that has grown over the last 40 years into a beautiful, cosmopolitan town, bejewelled with 4 fine sandy golden beaches and many rocky coves along the coast road whilst still retaining much of its original character, beauty and peacefulness, with its relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Whilst it retains an unspoilt charm, Moraira has plenty of cosy squares, terraces, bars, and restaurants. If you want to experience past and present visit the old castle or the watchtower that was used to protect the town against pirates Moraira has lots to offer all age groups.
The local authority has controlled Moraira's development, which has resulted in mainly private villas being built on the surrounding hillsides with only a few holiday apartments, no "package holidays" and no high rise hotels and buildings.
Moraira has a great selection of over 30 superb restaurants catering for any taste and budget. So if you are looking for a traditional Sunday roast or something traditionally Spanish there are many delightful cafes and bars providing "Tapas" and refreshments.
Look out for the "Menu del dia" this offers excellent value for money and is available in many restaurants, you can find a three-course meal with wine for well under £10.00! Sample the locally produced Moscatel wine a sweet desert wine, made from locally grown grapes, you will no doubt see these growing here wherever there is a spare space.
Moraira's beautiful Marina is an ideal sailing base and is protected by the rocks of cap Blanc and Punta de Moraira, it has many restaurant's and cocktail bars, where you can sit and relax enjoying a cocktail or two whilst passing the time whilst watching the boats.
Moraira has a small fun fair, a Go-Karting circuit for all ages, a tennis club, two crazy golf courses and three nightclubs. There is horse riding available, as well as every type of water sports including a dive centre all within a 10 minute drive of the villa.
Moraira has three beaches which have been awarded an EEC Blue Flag for cleanliness. One of these is called El Portet, a fabulous sandy beach with two bars/restaurants ideal for excellent lunches with amazing views over the sea and is well worth a visit, it is only a 15 minute drive from the villa. Moraira main beach has its own café and bar, beach volley ball and a variety of different water sports are on offer at different seasonal times. All 3 beaches are just 5 minutes drive from the villa. If you prefer a stroll to the beach there is a walk from Casa Mandian to Moraira and the beaches, which takes approximately 30 minutes.
There are some great golf courses in the area, the closest being Club de Golf Ifach Moraira a pleasant 'pay and play' 9 hole course, and is only a 2 minute drive away from the villa, set within a beautiful valley overlooking the sea to the Penon de Ifach.There are four other golf courses within 35 km in Javea, Denia, Benidorm and Olivia.

Every Friday morning in Moraira there is a market with stalls selling fruit and vegetables, clothes, leather bags and shoes, jewellery and much more ideal for bargain hunting. The local shops and night markets offer a really excellent choice of gifts, jewellery, leather handbags, shoes and clothes.
The larger resorts in the area include; Benidorm, Calpe, Javea and Denia all within a half hour drive.
Benimeit is situated high up on a rock face, yet is easily accessible by car, because of Casa Mandian's elevated position, it not only provides a pleasant light sea breeze which is very welcoming, but also stunning panoramic views overlooking Moraira, El Portet, Calpe, Penon de Ifach and of course the amazing blue Mediterranean sea below, the view from the large sun terrace, in fact from all of the villa apartment rooms is one that you will never tire of' nor forget.
Javea and the port of Denia are both only 30-40 minutes drive and make a lovely day out, guests can enjoy a walk along the Arenal at Javea that has many shops, restaurants and bars overlooking the sea. The large port of Denia is a must, why not take a stroll around the Marina ,have a meal and shop in the pretty tree lined town centre
The Almond blossom is spectacular sight in the Jalon Valley in the Spring, only a 20 minute drive from Moraira.

"The little bit of paradise that we've been looking for in Moraira"
This was our 7th visit to the Moraira / Calpe area, having stayed in a different holiday rental on each occasion... I guess what we were looking for was Casa Mandian apartment. :-) Mandy and Ian are lovely hosts. Warm and welcoming, whilst managing to find a comfortable balance, allowing guests their privacy and space to relax and enjoy their holiday... Though we're looking forward to a good chat next time! ;-) Having arrived at Casa Mandian, pretty exhausted but with a short list of things to see and do, we soon realised we'd rather be enjoying our time there, than spending too much time going out and about. The weather was pretty much perfect (14-28 Sept), with cooler nights, which we appreciated. The apartment, along with its pool and gardens, benefit from being located in a quiet area with stunning views all around. The accommodation is spacious, light, clean, well-maintained with some lovely touches. ie. Cotton robes, quality sunloungers, plenty of fresh towels and bedding. Lovely memories of sitting on the balcony, next to the beautifully lit pool, large glass of red wine, admiring the Harvest moon... So romantic! On this trip we discovered a few new eateries and highly recommend The Lowry and Rondo. There's also a fab little (temporary?) Tapas Bar, on the front at Calpe. Look out for an array of brightly coloured rafia parasols, in front of the new Calpestabili apartments (Edifio Vistabella - Park in Calle Holanda.) Delicious homemade tapas at around 3€! Our holiday was so perfect that, before we left, we booked the same two weeks at Casa Mandian, in 2014!... How many sleeps?!

"Lovely Apartment - Great area for a holiday"
Casa Mandian was a perfect break for us. The apartment is very well furnished and equipped and extremely spacious. The very large bed is extra comfy and the outside space and pool lovely. A car is necessary, but this is a great base for exploring Moraira and the surrounding area. There are steps through the gardens to the apartment, but it’s well worth it for the view. Thanks for a lovely break Mandy and Ian, hope to see you again. Sheila & Vaughan.

"Just Perfect !"
Well, what can i say ! Excellent, excellent , excellent!!. Had a wonderful time during our stay at Casa Mandian.The Villa was perfect , the children loved it and none of us wanted to leave. The villa had excellent facilities, views to die for and lovely owners who made us all feel very welcome. Will be returning next year!!!. Thank you Mandy and Ian
