Free Wi-Fi, TV with 2.1 surround system ,DVD player, Wii games console and a selection of games and Free to view satellite TV (some of the free to view channels are, bbc1, itv1, itv2, e4, more4, citv, pop, tiny pop, pop girl, 501 etc) To the side of the property there is a privately owned pool (with UV filtration for lower chlorine levels) with shower room and around the villa are areas of garden and patio including a BBQ area. The villa is situated in a quiet residential area, a short walk to local shops, supermarket and bars and a short drive to Moraira town

A cot and high chair are available at no extra charge. Bathroom 2 (shower room) is located to the rear of the downstairs garage and not in the main part of the house and can be used as an extra bathroom or for pool use. Main bathroom with bath/ shower, toilet and wash hand basin. The kitchen has been recently modernised and is equipped with stainless sink and drainer, fridge, built in cooker with hob above,dishwasher, plus all pots, crockery and cutlery. Lounge/Diner with table and 6 chairs, 2 x two seater sofa, TV with 2.1 surround system and free to view satellite, DVD player and selection of films. Free WI-FI. Air conditioning throughout. Naya with open terrace, table and 6 chairs and barbecue for alfresco dining overlooking the pool. For the safety of children the villa now has fully compliant pool safety fencing which is removable so the villa can be booked with or without it at no extra cost. Smoking is not permitted inside the villa. The villa is located in a quiet residential area. Nearby you will find tennis courts, golf course, scuba diving centre and sailing school. Moraira is a pretty fishing village with strict building regulations in force, so there are no high rise buildings here. The people are renowned for their friendliness and with a coastline that stretches for 8km you will be spoilt for a choice of bars and excellent restaurants. You can walk along the palm fringed seafront, past the castle and numerous beaches; choose from rocks, pebbles or sand. The main sandy beach l Ampolla is situated at the foot of the castle and is patrolled by lifeguards, there are excellent facilities here including children's play area, restaurants, bar and various water sports. El Portet beach also has fine sand and crystal clear water, and has been presented with the Blue Flag Award for cleanliness. There is a weekly market and it is approx a 30 mins drive to Terra Mitica theme park and Aqualandia.

The Valencian Country region

The Costa Blanca literally in English means "White Coast" refers to over 200 kilometres of Mediterranean coastline in the Alicante province of Spain. The name "Costa Blanca" was devised as a promotional name used by BEA when they launched their air service between London and Valencia in 1957. It has a well-developed tourism industry and is a popular destination for British and German tourists. It extends from the town of Dénia in the north, beyond which lies the Costa del Azahar (Costa dels Tarongers), to Pilar de la Horadada in the south, beyond which lies the Costa Cálida. It includes the major tourist destinations of Benidorm, Alicante, Dénia and Xàbia.

Moraira

Moraira is a pretty fishing village, with strict building regulations in force, so there are no high rise buildings here. The fishermen still go out early in the morning to catch fresh fish to sell later that day at the traditional fish market. The people are renowned for their friendliness and with a coastline that stretches for 8km you will not be spoilt for a choice of bars or excellent restaurants. Steeped in history and culture, the Old Town is especially interesting with museums, picturesque little streets and squares with many tapas bars and restaurants. Calpe is a friendly fishing village which sits close to the Rock of Ifach on a hill rising up from the last spurs of the sierra Bernia in the middle of spain's Costa Blanca, a geographical marvel that provides access to the northernmost towns of Alicante's Marina district. It is an authentic tourist site, with a coastline boasting sandy beaches, cliff faces in some areas and an ancient salt mine, which all give the town a peculiar flavour of its own. Calpe is overlooked by the towering Penon de Ifach which juts out into the sea and rises to over 1000 ft.

“Sheer Bliss”

this really is a home from home. The villa has everything in it, from ironing board to hairdryer, dishwasher, sky, DVD and Wii. Spotlessly clean, and completely private. This is now our 7th year visiting the area and we never tire of it, even with teenagers! The village of Moraira is a 5 minute drive away, with so many restaurants to go round, we've still not managed to visit them all. Also, spoilt for choice for super markets, with Carrefour and lidl at the bottom of the road, just down from the villa. There are also many pepe le-sal supermarkets and other Spanish stores. Round from the villa there's a lovely little English owned pub, Barlioche, with a shop and 2 restaurants.

We have stayed here many times before at different times of the year. It is a well equipped, comfortable villa with a great pool in a good location both for the town of Moraira and for the local shops and restaurants. The recent changes to the villa have made a big difference to our stay. The Air conditioning in all the rooms made it even more comfortable at the hight of the summer and the WiFi made it easy to stay in contact with family and friends. The new dishwasher is a welcome addition to the kitchen and the upgraded bathroom looks great. We had a lovely time and I'm sure we will come back soon.

Nice clean villa with all the amenities advertised. The pool was large for the size of villa but was not heated (already advised by owner). The villa is not really within walking distance of town unless you really love walking, 25 minutes at a good pace, no talking. Overall a good price and a neat clean villa. Just one other point, they have a safety gate for the pool but not for the stairs leading from villa to the pool and villa entrance.

We recently stayed at Casa Diaz for a family holiday and were absolutely delighted by the villa. It was extremely clean and tidy, as well as being very spacious, homely, and extremely well equipped. Although the photographs clearly demonstrated that the property was very nice, on arrival we were blown away by it. As well as being beautiful, and having a great position, it had everything you could need.....from a fully equipped kitchen including both china and plastic plates and cups for the kids, to a safe, and blankets and quilts if you need them. The owners also let us know the property was available early on the day we arrived and were always on hand to help with any questions we had. This is a first rate property and I'd have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.
