Getting around

It is very helpful to have a car. You can then visit all the nearby towns and sites of interest. Cycling and walking are alternatives. There is a bus service but times need checking.

Interaction with guest

We have completed the process of refurbishing Hillcrest Barn. It now has three new ensuites, a new kitchen, oil fired central heating and a new woodburner. For information there are two staircases with two bedrooms (the king and a twin) accessed via one and the second twin accessed via the other. We have someone who manages the cottage for us. We ask that you give them a call before arrival to make the arrangements. There is a keysafe at the property. We are sorry but we are unable to take dogs (except assistance dogs) in Hillcrest Barn, it does not lend itself to them.
