The Barn is a VisitEngland 4 Star property. It is a superb, comfortable, 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom property with attractive beamed ceilings, stone flagged floors, spiral staircase and a gated drive with off-street parking for 2 cars. Suitable for families and groups of friends alike. In addition to listed facilities we also have a piano.

Convenient and attractive location on the village green in Monyash.

Walk or cycle from the door. Close to High Peak Trail, Lathkill Dale and Limestone Way. There are many walking opportunities from Monyash and the Monsal Trail, Manifold Valley and Tissington Trail are all a short drive (or bike ride) away.

Visit Bakewell, Ashbourne, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Lyme Park, Dovedale, Alton Towers, Arbor Low, Castleton, The Heights of Abraham, Matlock and Matlock Bath and many other places. See the Well Dressings in the area; visit The Chatsworth Show and the Bakewell Show.

The Barn is ideally located in the heart of the Peak District National Park, in the centre of the White Peak village of Monyash, near to Bakewell.

Monyash

Walk from the door in Lathkil Dale or over to the ancient stone circle of Arbor Low or follow the Limestone Way.

Cycle from the door on your choice of cycle trails the nearest being the High Peak Trail just over a mile away.

Lots more walking and cycling within a short drive of Monyash.

Alternatively, visit Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Dovedale, Alton Towers, Buxton with its Opera House, Ashbourne, Castleton and its caves, Bakewell, Cromford and Scarthin Books and famous for its connection with Arkwright.

Both Bakewell and Chatsworth have annual shows. The White Peak Walk, a 26 mile Challenge Walk, starts and finished in Monyash annually. Derbyshire is famous for its Well Dessing festivals. Monyash has its own Well Dressing Festival during the May bank holiday week.

Please do not allow them upstairs or on the furniture or leave them unattended in the property.
