“Unique, picturesque, hospitable and fun!”

Reviewed 29 Jun 2014

We loved staying with Jacqueline, who is great fun, super friendly and an excellent cook. We came by public transport so Jacqueline collected us and drove us where we needed to go, all cheerful and no trouble. The house is gorgeous, accommodation very comfortable, with beautiful walks in all directions. We could see Mt St Michel from our bedroom window. Jacqueline made us dinner, which I highly recommend. Altogether we had a great stay, delightful and fun!

“Wonderful hosts, great location, and home away from home”

“Glorious Country Stay Experience!”

Reviewed 6 Jun 2014

From the first peak of the property, to the final glimpse as we turned from the country lane, it was absolutely beautiful! Jacquie warmly greeted us at the gate that opened into a picture perfect country garden. The building was so beautiful. A genuine barn with time, history and beauty well worn into every stone of the building. The rooms were rustic and cosy. Exposed beams, quaint little windows, views to die for. Bathroom facilities modern and clean. Hospitality first class with a touch of home thrown in as I was very ill that night, and was made to feel very comfortable. A genuine country stay, with cows and sheep walking passed on the lane, smell and all! We absolutely loved it! You have to stay here! Oh, and the original reason we booked: Mont St Michel is just down the road, and worth a look too!

“we had a great stay!”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2013

we stayed for two nights and visited the castle in Fougères (great!) and Mont St Michel by evening (great tip from Jaqueline!). It was less crowded and we saw a beautiful lightshow in the abbey. The four bedroom was very comfortable, clean and the breakfast was well provided by Jacqueline. There is a pleasant sitting room downstairs and a nice terrace outside, coffee, tea etc. We would really recommend it to everybody.
