“Third visit to Casa Renzo”

Reviewed 5 Aug 2017

Well what can I say! This was our 3rd visit to Casa Renzo the 1st being in 2008, 2nd 2009 and we finally got our chance to revisit this July/August (2017) and again we weren't disappointed! This beautiful property is stunning, well equipped and comfortable. The views are amazing, especially watching the sun set in the evening over the hills. We have had the most relaxing week ever - just what we needed. The four of us (mum, dad and two boys 14 & 11) have never been so chilled. This is the perfect place to unwind and spend some valuable family time together. There are plenty of places to visit if you would like to and car is essential. There are places to eat out but the local supermarkets provide plenty of local produce at good prices. Wine and beer very affordable too! Will we return? Absolutely!

“Views from the balcony are spectacular”

Reviewed 23 May 2013

Arrived at night, (excellent directions supplied by Sally),after flying to Rimini, approx 2 hrs drive to Casa Renzo.Woke up the following morning to see the most amazing views from the balcony, even better than the photos. Lovely house, well equipped kitchen. Ate out a couple of times, found a good piza restaurant-not too expensive. Lots of hilltop villages close by and Montigiorgio is a must especially on market day. When we visited it was very hot, so the pool got plenty of use as did the barbecue The perfect place to unwind...can't wait to visit again, will be there in August !!

“Unwinding in style with one of the most fantastic settings”

Where do I start. We flew into Ancona, picked up the hire car, set the satnav and off we went. In little over an hour we arrived at Casa Renzo. Wow. The place is stunning and set in the most beautiful valley. Olive trees run down the fields along with the hundreds of grape vines and a fantastic view of the mountains. The house is an old farmhouse which has been tastefully modernised whilst keeping the original beams and features. The balcony off the main bedroom is just heaven in the mornings, allowing you to slip outside with a cup of tea and take in the morning sun. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a bottle opener and cork screw, (what more do you need on holiday?) but also has everything else should you need it. Outside, the pool and barbecue were probably used more than the bottle opener and cork screw, although that is debatable. We found a supermarket just down the road for supplies, and it has to be said that the bottled beer is so cheap, you can't afford not to buy it. The local wine is also very good and very cheap, and I did hear a rumour that food was also available. We ate out a few times and found the restaurants very good and reasonably priced. Nothing is too much trouble and they certainly go out of their way for the children. The local towns are a must see, but you do need to drive to most places, although Motegiorgio is walkable in about 20-30 minutes. There's an information folder in the house if you prefer lots of activities, or you can just take off and finds things for yourself. Either way, If you like a relaxing holiday by your own private pool or just want to see the sights, this place is a must. We'll definitely be going back. I hope this review goes someway to helping you choose your holiday, but I can hoestly say you won't be disappointed with Casa Renzo.

“Views sat by the pool will stay forever in my mind....”

We had the most relaxing week ever, stitting out by the beautiful pool into the evening. Casa Renzo has everything you could ever need, all the facilites of a well equipped home, lots of living space and all beautifully presented. The upstairs balcony is just magical as the sun comes up in the morning with a cuppa! With the village only a short hop down the road and providing local fair as well as the larger supermarkets we wanted for nothing..coupled with the very comprehensive local directory provided by Sally and Darren (the house owners) we had loads of options to eat out as well in some of the local hill top towns (well worth the journey out!) The pool was immaculate and provided a welcome relief from the suns rays, we were genuinely encourage to use all the facilities available to us with the bar-be-que getting an awful lot of attention! as well as the wine cooling area in the fridge! All in all Casa Renzo is a beautiful place to stay and the owners really do encourage you to treat it like its your own..a real "home from home" but a very special home at that!"
