It is only suitable for couples and small families. Or 3adults and 1child.

IT is only suitable for couples or small family groups.Luxury studio with 4 poster bed separate dining kitchen with full facilities,bathroom with bath and shower. ARRIVALS AFTER 3PM AND DEPARTURES BEFORE 10AM UNLESS BY PRIOR ARRAINGEMENT AND SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY.This apartment does not have a balcony.For a chilled out relaxing holiday 10 minutes walk from the strip and shops it is in a quiet residential area away from the night life. So if you want to be in the hub of things this is not the place for you. It has its own pool area with a children's pool and a small play area and tennis court in a private garden with a locked gate (key provided and there are no charges for the use of these facilities). There are sunbeds for you to use.You do not need to hire a car but if you wish to then you can hire to pick up at the airport or hire once you are there for 3,5 or 7 days the choice is yours.For taxis there is no local rank so you need to pre book them during the day.For airport tranfer please ask for my advice before booking your own.

This property is available all year round, there is aircon and heating.

Bookings are not confirmed until money is recieved into my bank and cheques are no longer accepted for payment or security deposit owing to several non payments by cheque!!

Should you lock the apt keys in the apt then you will incur a charge to our handy person to cover his time and fuel and this is payable direct to him.

I also have a log cabin for rent in the beautiful rolling hills of Alentejo (just 50 miles north of Albufiera). Why not give this a try for a change and meet some of Portugals most friendly people. Or why not try a twin centre holiday of a week in the countryside and a week on the Algarve.

Luxury studio apartment with 4 poster bed and one double futon style bed which has a proper mattress on it.
Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Fully fitted dining kitchen.
The bed linen and bath towels are provided, you just need your beach towels.
The apartment does not have a balcony. It is in a quiet residential area away from the hustle and bustle, but just a short walk away from the bars shops and restaurants. Though there are a couple of small bars just two minutes walk away
Please note that there is no local taxi rank, if you need taxis then you have to pre book them.

There is a garden area with a swimming pool and children's pool, a play area and tennis court. This is a shared but private area and there is a locked gate to keep it exclusive (a key is provided for your use)
If you have a hire car it can be parked in any space in front of the apartment block, there are no reserved spaces.
There is a large supermarket just 10 minutes walk from the apartments that is open from 09.00 to 21.00 everyday there is also a butchers shop and a bakery in there to.

“Brilliant apartment!”

Returned today after staying at this apartment for10 days. Cannot fault the apartment or Julie - the apartment had everything we needed and Julie was super helpful with anything I asked. Pool is beautiful and clean, with the tennis courts and park an added bonus! And for those, like me, who struggle with beds on holiday and sleeping - the mattress was perfect and we slept like a dream!

We had a lovely 10 day stay at this apartment. It's a short taxi ride away from all the nightlife and beach (you could walk but it's very hilly and we had a buggy to push) There's even a supermarket down the road which is a 10minute walk with a pram. The pool was surprisingly warm considering it's unheated and lovely and quiet. Loungers were available but we just stuck towels on the grass. There's toilets and showers by the pool so no need to go back and forward between the room. For the price of the apartment you can't go wrong. No issues with noise even though there are a few dogs living in the block. I think the only thing I could moan about is that the mattress/bed dipped in the middle, but my partner is over 16 stone so other people may not have an issue. One thing that could be done is for the owner to leave a folder or something with the local taxi numbers in, directions to the supermarket and beach etc for anyone staying. Google maps and a search on trip advisor for taxi numbers served us fine but not all people have free data abroad on their phones. The taxis arrive very fast too usually by the time we got outside from the apartment one would pull up. There were drinks left for us in the fridge on arrival and thr owner came and changed towels and bedding after a week which was really nice and thoughtful considering there was a washing machine so we could have done this ourselves. Would definitely recommend and return :)

We found Villa Panteao the perfect place to stay in the Algarve. The location is about 10 minutes from the top of the strip in Montechoro and about 25 minutes walk to the beach. The pool and tennis court are very quiet and kept really clean. Although the apt doesn't have a balcony it is a good size for a studio, has a full bathroom and the seperate kitchen has a table and chairs in it. There is no TV stations so the TV can only be used for DVDs,. there is no wifi neither but most restaurants have free wifi. Everything in the building was very clean and well maintained. Julie and Glynn were on hand immediately for info or if there were any problems, and were good enough to collect us from Faro airport also! I'd highly recommend it.

Had a great holiday in a lively and busy resort. Some beautiful beaches. The apartment was clean and comfortable with more than usual facilities. Its a bout a thirty minute walk to the beach. The owner was very attentive as our toaster broke and he had it replaced within the day. The keys were delivered to our house three weeks before our hols and security deposit was sent back two days after we returned the keys to the owner. The pool is large with very few people using it (not a tourist spot as the apartments are owned privately). Nice to find a full size cooker and a washing machine in a holiday rental apartment. We will definately be making another booking here next year.

The owner was slow to respond to emails and didn't always answer the questions we asked, meaning we had to email again. The keys to the apartment were supposed to have been posted to us 2 weeks before departing, but I had to chase these up and we finally received them 3 days before our flight. We were given an address for the property, but no directions. The location was a good 30 mins walk from Oura beach and definitely not 1km away as stated in the advert. It was located near a good, affordable, reasonable sized supermarket about 10 mins walk away, and lots of good restaurants about 15 mins walk away with The Strip a little further on. From here you can also catch a tourist train to the Old Town, but it doesn't stop at Oura beach. The immediate area of the apartment was not developed and it meant a walk through scrubland and along a busy road that didn't have proper footways. Hopefully this will get developed in time. The studio was a good size although the furniture was dated and tired. However, it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. After doing a shop and stocking up the fridge, we realised the fridge wasn't working. The boiler also leaked through the tiles when we turned it on. I reported these faults to the owner who arranged for a very helpful maintenance guy to attend. He couldn't fix the faults (it was late evening) but he gave us keys to another apartment to use the shower there. By Monday lunchtime everyhting was repaired, although we did have to waste Monday morning waiting in while the repairs were done. All other facilities in the studio worked fine. The pool was a good size and not too busy. It was cleaned daily, but we couldn't find any loungers allocated to the apartment, despite notes in the apartment saying they were available. However, the grass round the pool was fine to put towels on. The tennis courts were a good standard too and again not busy. Albufeira is a great resort with plenty of good restaurants and bars, but this apartment was just too far from the resort's facilities.
