Description from owner

Description

The area outside the apartment:
Car parking in the street – it´s a one way street which mean less traffic and noise.
Personal entrance with a small garden/outside area, which is free to use.

Apartment:
Entrance hall, big livingroom, kitchen, storageroom, bedroom and bathroom (look at the photos)

This vacation home is a fairly modern apartment, situated in the citycenter of Montecatini Terme in a peaceful residental area. (The apartment was designed for her second daughter, but she moved away from home)

Furthermore it is situated ideally in the middle between famous cities and attractions like: Firenze, Pisa, Siena, Lucca, Collodi (the origin of Pinocchio), Vinci (birthplace and museum of Leonardo da Vinci) and many others.
With a maximum of 1 hour of driving to either skiing in the mountains, or sunny white beaches, - it will be hard to find any more ideal place to discover the wonders of Tuscany!

In addition:

Only a few houndred meters

The Tuscany region

The Tuscan region

Tuscany is a region in central Italy with an area of about 23,000 square kilometres, and a population of about 3.8 million inhabitants. The regional capital is Florence (Firenze).

Tuscany is known for its landscapes, traditions, history, artistic legacy and its permanent influence on high culture. It is regarded as the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and has been home to many figures influential in the history of art and science. As a result, the region boasts museums (such as the Uffizi, the Pitti Palace).

Tuscany is famous for its wines, including the well-known Chianti, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Morellino di Scansano and Brunello di Montalcino and more.

Montecatini Terme

Tuscany's towns and areas are among the world's most beautiful (if you ask us!):

Florence: Tuscany's capital and Italy's greatest city of art, with its romantic Pontevecchio, its remarkable Duomo (cathedral) with the Baptisery, its Palazzo Vecchio, its Galeria degli Uffizi (paintings), its Galeria dell' Academia (the David of Michelangelo) or its Ponte Vecchio.

Siena: with its unique medieval structure of towers and palaces, its beautiful Piazza del Campo and its famous horse races, the "Palio of Siena"

Pisa: with its famous leaning tower and the piazza Montepulciano and Pienza, both jewels from the renaissance period.

Lucca: with its magnificent fortifications and charming piazzas.

Livorno: with its famous harbour

Assisi: with its famous Basilica of Saint Francisco.

San Gimignano: with its towering houses and campanile

Volterra: with its Museo Etrusco Guarnacci , its Palazzo dei Priori (the first palace of Tuscany), its middle ages streets and its famous alabaster workshops

Arrezzo: with its famous Basilica of San Fransesco, painted by Piero della Francesca

Cortona: situated at the top of the hill as an unchanged medieval village

Montecatini Terme: with its famous spas

Forte dei Marmi: with its lovely beaches

The Maremma area: with its vast unspoiled national parks

And a lot more....

Everything is very close..
