Ideal for groups of friends, families and children.
The perfect traditional Italian farmhouse / villa, for families and adults alike. Located in a romantic Le Marche setting away from the road (which is very quiet) and in a wonderfully rural location.
There are 6 bedrooms - 3 double and 3 twins, in 3 differing sections of the property allowing privacy if required.
There are 4 bathrooms upstairs, the master bedroom has a bathroom inside the bedroom on one side of a very large bedroom.
One bathroom is just a shower room and WC and there are 2 WC's downstairs - one of them is due to have a shower installed for 2018.
There is a large kitchen and 2 x spacious sitting rooms. The 360 degree views from the house are amazing with distant sea views to the East & The magnificent Sibillini mountains to the West.
Le Marche is a fabulously beautiful place.Outside there is a large terracotta terrace and covered pergola, table, chairs and big parasols to keep the sun at bay. You can lie under the fig trees if it gets too hot.
A brand new 10 x 5 metre South-facing private swimming pool is located just below the house, with spectacular views of the mountains and surrounding rolling hills. It also has a large terracotta terrace with elegant French pool furniture to relax on. (Please note that it's a one depth pool at 140cm water level with steps into the pool in the corner so no diving permitted).
The house has a dishwasher, washing machine, 2 x flat screen TVs - one a large 55' smart TV with Netflik etc, 2 x DVD players CD player, (please bring own music) 2 x cots & a camp bed.
The kitchen is well appointed with equipment and plates, serving dishes etc.
There is a large play-den filled with activities for small children (and big kids) with table tennis, a netted trampoline, ride ons, village shop, creative activities and more.
Casa Lola is located in the commune of Monte San Martino, one of the most beautiful hill-top villages in the region known as the Golden Triangle; where the local church houses some of the best renaissance art from the Crivelli brothers, also to be seen in the National Gallery and other great galleries of the world (and we have some on our door-step - wonderful)!
There are excellent places to eat a short drive from the villa (or hearty walk) and cafes and delicious home made Italian ice-cream to be enjoyed in the gelaterias of Amandola and Sarnarno.
The Sibillini mountains offer some of the best walking to be had in the country, ranging from treks up valleys along the shaded rivers to more robust clambers where you can stay at refugios located strategically along crafted routes.
Excellent day trips include Assisi and Urbino, and Ascoli Piceno with it's piazzas and galleries offering culture vultures a glorious day out.
Closer to home there is a riding school in the valley and playgrounds in abundance for very small children. A lake below the house with a deer park (although deer tend to hide) with boat rides, gentle buggy-friendly walk and pizzeria (with basic swings and slide to occupy energetic children) and restaurant to hand.
Donkey rides through the forests of Smirillo and wine tasting tours, not forgetting the Roman ruins, are amongst some of our suggestions; there is so much to do if relaxing by the pool is is not quite enough!.
