Riverdale is a charming riverfront property on a quiet, sunny street in Monte Rio. With a large backyard for relaxing and watercraft for fun on the river, it's a fabulous place for couples, families, or friends. It has 2 bed/1 bath upstairs, with a separate 2 bed/1 bath suite downstairs (accessed via external staircase).

The comfortable living room has a modular sofa with a full-size bed tucked into it. Riverdale is fully equipped with cable TV and a high speed wifi connection, as well as free domestic long distance phone service. The upstairs is light and bright and open, with french doors that open onto the deck and out to the world!

The well equipped kitchen has everything you need, including classic cookware, dependable knives, and that all-important espresso maker! You'll also find other essentials like a blender, cocktail shaker, and lots of wine glasses.

The main upstairs bedroom boasts a luxurious, pillow-topped California King bed. Both bedrooms are bright and sunny. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and overlooks the front patio with its lovely Japanese maple trees. The back deck runs the length of the house, and towers over the back yard for a survey of the landscape.

There are 2 bedrooms downstairs, both located just steps from the beautifully renovated bathroom. This peaceful oasis has a queen bed and cascading fuchsias just outside the window. The second bedroom is outfitted with a lovely daybed with trundle. Each has a standard twin mattress so you can use them as 2 twin beds, or pop up the trundle and use it with the daybed as a king-size bed. Both bedrooms are adjacent to the downstairs family room, with its huge windows and lovely river views. This bathroom is the kind that makes you want to draw a bath, light some candles, and just relax in the calming ambiance. It's really beautiful!

The downstairs family room has old world charm and new world windows! Check out that view. And with great access to the backyard, it's a great "plus" room that's sure to come in handy with large groups.

One of the best aspects of Riverdale is the outdoor space. The backyard is lush and green with lovely plantings and a long expanse of lawn. The yard stretches down to meet the river via a hidden stairway down to the private dock. The large dock is tucked into the canopy on the edge of the river with a little built-in bench, it's a great place to watch the river go by. The perfect place to climb into a gently drifting watercraft and while away the afternoon.
