This apartment sleeps up to 9 people all in permenant beds with no one sleeping on a sofa or in the lounge. There is a beautiful open plan lounge and dining area that is perfect for relaxing with family and friends. It has a separate fully fitted kitchen area, two shower rooms and two separate toilets.
It has its own front door, ski locker, boot room and truly spectacular views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding mountains.

“Beautiful chalet in a great location”
Chalet Miravidi exceeded our expectations. It's beautifully decorated with a mix of modern and traditional decor and spotlessly clean. We were two families of 4 (including 4 kids between 9 and 11) and it was ideal with a comfy central living area and well appointed galley kitchen. On one side of the chalet there are two good sized bedrooms (1 double and 1 bunk room) with a shower room and separate toilet in between. Just off the lounge there is a smaller bunk room that leads onto another double with ensuite shower room. Ideal therefore for two families. Outside the front door is a 4 man hot tub which is shared with the other small apartment but can be booked in advance. The front door leads to a good size boot room and sauna and a lockable door leading into the Mont Blanc chalet proper. There is also a door from the front (ensuite) bedroom) leading to a terrace with fantastic views over the valley and Mont Blanc. Alongside the house is a large trampoline which belongs to the owners but our kids were allowed to play with it - and indeed spent hours playing with the owners kids. Beyond the trampoline, a (steepish) path leads down to a blue piste which you can ski directly to a chair lift on. Unfortunately when we arrived the lower snow conditions were poor and by day 2 the snow had all but gone. I can imagine however in good conditions it is great and hugely convenient. We ended up storing our gear at the locker room owned by Innovation 2 ski school by the "bubble" lift. Alternatively, one could keep skis in car and drive to either lift or over to Les Coches. Skiing at Easter and the subsequent snow conditions meant that a car was absolutely imperative - you could manage without if the snow was good. We had days where it must have been 25 degrees and I have to say though that they were well spent enjoying the late afternoon sun in the Chalet garden. The Chalet has a few neighbouring chalets but the setting is very quiet and is situated above the others so feels very private. The downside is you have to walk up about 20 steps which is a pain with ski gear and cases, however the pain is worth it ! You can park at the bottom of the steps so it's not far at all (10m up and another 20 across a path). The drive to the village is about 3-4 mins on a windy but good road. The village itself is lovely and certainly from what I saw the prettiest (by some way) in the La Plagne resort. The main street is cobbled and has a small Sherpa (Spar-like) shop, bakery, tabac a couple of restaurant/bars and some ski shops. There are some other restaurants dotted around the village and a good bar near the Evolution 2 ski school, however some had already closed for the season when we were there. We actually used the bakery for a couple of apre ski beers (and cream cakes) as some of the other bars didn't open til 4. It's worth noting that everyone (with the exception of the lady in the Tabac!) was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It didn't matter whether it was the bakery, supermarket, ski-hire, ski-school or restaurants - we always felt very welcome. We had planned to eat out most of the holiday, however the chalet was so nice and the kitchen so well furnished that we only ate out on two evenings. With a car you can do the 15 min drive to Aime where there is a large Leclerc supermarket - and a Decathlon next door. The owners, Matt and Karen were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. This was my first "DIY" ski trip and it couldn't have gone better. I'd certainly not just recommend Chalet Miravidi but have every intention of staying there again - perhaps in the summer next time. I felt we got excellent value for the quality of the accommodation. The only downside(s)? Having to leave and the feeling of jealousy for Karen & Matt's wonderful lifestyle. Inspired! :)

“Half term holidays”
Had a great week with two families of 4 adults and 4 children. Great chalet in a good spot on the mountain. Just walk from the garden and the you are on the ski slope. You can ski back to the garden through the woods tricky in places weather permitting. Karen was a great host and made sure everything was on hand. The meal option of her cooking is a great idea and very tasty. A large resort that teenager's will love. The home run can be a bit crowded. All and all a superb chalet for the size which is used very well. The wives and children particularly enjoyed the jacuzzi and the views. Many thanks for letting us stay in your house. “Lovely chalet with access to an amazing ski area”
A big group of us (7 couples in our mid 20's) visited over new years eve 2013, and had a fantastic time in the two chalets. We arrived late on Saturday night and were greated with a huge home made lasagne (loads leftover) which was keeping warm in the oven with starters layed out and desert in the fridge. The wine was ready to go that came with the meal and the extra beers we had ordered were chilling outside. This was really nice to arrive to (all for 10EUR each) after a long day of travelling. After a bit of discussion on sleeping arrangements, we decided the boys would sleep downstairs and the girls upstairs, as it wasnt possible for every couple to have a room together and downsairs was much larger than the upstairs apartment!! This proved a hit with the boys- not so much with the girls. The chalet itself is very clean, cosey and has everything you need. The location is a fair march up from the resort town centre, up steep slippery steps, which we found out after the first days skiing as we hadn't yet found the cut through off the blue piste by the chalet, and had to ski down to the resort, and then walk all the way back up with our equipment! Big error!!! As soon as you relise where the cut through is by the chalet to get off and on the blue piste it is pretty much ski in ski out and very easy! There is a Spar shop in montchavin centre and a free bus that comes up to chalet from the centre but I think this stopped about 6pm and was hard to walk back from with heavy shopping up the slopes. It must be said Karen and Matt were always offering to pick us up supplies from the supermarket from further down the mounting which was cheeper. This was much appreciated. We ended up asking them to pick us up all our beer and wine, and then got into a routine of picking up food for that evenings meal in the supermarket in Les Coaches after having apres ski there and skiing back with it down a short blue (3mins) to the chalet. Apres ski bars were fairly limited in Les Coaches and Montchavin (we ended up in the same one all week) and quite expensive (couldnt find any happy hours). We ended up providing our own entertainment in the chalet most nights, which we all enjoyed as the chalet was so nice to be in and there was a big enough group of us. The sauna and hot tub were a really nice bonus to the chalet and was lovely to relax in after a hard days skiing. Matt and Karen were always in regular touch to make sure we were enjoying our stay and if they could help with anything which was much appreciated. A menu was provided in each chalet with choices of several different set meals if you wanted a night off from cooking. We chose to have the raclette set menu on our last night which was fantastic, loads of meat cheese and wine! perfect way to end the holiday!!! Overall we had an amasing new years, thanks!
“For a ski holiday this was close to perfect!”
We were a large group of nine looking for a nice private chalet away from the main apartment/chalet blocks with a hot tub and a nice lounge to relax in, within close proximity to the slopes and some reasonably good apres ski. Chalet Miravidi (specifically Chalet Mont Blanc which we stayed in) delivered on all of these fronts and more. Our experience from the off was great with Karen being extremely helpful when making our initial inquiries. Having looked at a number of places, this was the clear standout so we decided to book. When we changed from a smaller group to a bigger group as well this was no problem as we were able to switch chalets very easily. On arrival we found the directions extremely helpful and combined with an excellent map reader, it didn't take long to find the property even through it was tucked away behind a couple of other places. The chalet was also spotless and very welcoming with everything we needed to hand. We were able to contact Karen and Matt very easily, order coffee, book croissants and fresh bread from the local bakery (delivered each morning) and get helpful advice. The property had all the facilities you would need including dish washer, freeview, games, wifi and sauna. For the skiing things couldn't have been more perfect. The ski area is huge and caters for everyone. We had two beginners in the group who booked at 4 day ski school class (2 hours a day) and after day one they were both able to ski alone down some blue runs. Both highly recommended the ski school we used (Evolution 2) and passed the Yeti Stage 1! For the rest of us, there were so many ski slopes to choose from we were spoilt for choice and with the full Paradiski passes we explored the vast ski area to include Montchavin, Les Echos, La Plagne and Les Arcs. Even if we had gone for another week, I don't think we would have covered off everything so we are now already after just one day back, looking to visit again to explore further. The snow was also great and we enjoyed three dumps of snow which made the skiing even better. The local town was great as well with lovely restaurants, a couple of nice bars, easy ski hire facilities, a lovely spa and much more. Overall this was a fabulous place to stay in a fabulous area and we are very much forward to another trip. Thank you Karen and Matt!
A group of 7 of us stayed here for over Hogmanay/New Year 2012. It was a fantastic stay - we loved the hot tub in the evenings after a long days skis. The chalet is about a 10 min walk uphill from the village - it is possible to ski to just below the chalet and walk up the road. Leaving in the morning is even easier - you can ski down after an even shorter walk. There is a bus-stop 2 mins from the chalet. If you are worried about the prospect of being up the mountain - don't be! The local supermarket will deliver your food up to the chalet - although they appreciate it if you get in earlier in the day. The did deliver for us on New Years Eve! We were blessed with fantastic amounts of snow, but I'd have to say that this resort (Montchavin) is quite low down, which sometimes might be a problem. It is a perfect location for linking between Les Arcs and La Plagne quickly, but I couldn't comment on what the snow would be like to the village in springtime or in poorer years. The hot-tub is great, Karen and Matt (the owners) are really helpful, the kitchen has all the things you'd want and the bathrooms are great. We thought this chalet was great value for money, and had no complaints all trip!
