Mont Saxonnex is a village of about 1,600 inhabitents situated in the foothills north of the Massif Bargys. It has a fairly extensive ski area located between 1100 and 1800 metres altitude. It overlooks the valley of the Arve 600 metres between Bonneville and Cluses (acis Geneva-Charmonix).

Its natural heritage is very diverse and it is nice to go skiing in the winter but also great to go hiking in the summer.

For skiiers wanting to accss the bigger stations, you can find them all in the proximity of 30-40 km; Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets, Flaine / Les Carroz, Megeve and Chamonix, Les Contamines, La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand, Praz sur Arlys etc..

Mont Saxonnex also offers a wide range of activities during summer, spring and fall. For those who like to hike, there are plenty of great trips departing from and around Mont Saxonnex and can be selected by level and length. You can also do mountain biking and rockclimbing at many different levels.

The chair lift is open during the summer and provides quick access to the higher lying terrain for those who find it too challenging to walk to the top.
