Overlooking the vineyards, Villa Papillon is a charming Provencal villa in an idyllic setting. The comfortable 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom family-oriented accommodation is air-conditioned throughout. Each room is well equipped to help you enjoy a relaxing yet fun holiday with little extras such as:

* flatscreen TV with French & UK channels, DVD player & selection of family movies

* secure WIFI for internet access

* books, board games, pool inflatables & children’s toys

* outdoor dining and comfortable seating, children's swing set

Getting around is best done by car or bike. The roads are wide and easy to drive on. The Villa is particularly popular with cyclists as the area offers varied routes with spectacular scenery along with the opportunity to take on challenging climbs.

Very Good

“Perfect place for a perfect holiday”

Had an amazing two week stay at the villa. The villa itself is amazing with everything spotlessly clean and the best stocked place we have ever stayed in, everything you need is there. The gardens are beautiful with a view overlooking the vineyard in front all the way across to the mountains. The pool area has plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas to protect you from the sun which the villa sees a lot of! There are games for the kids as well as dvds for all the family which make this the perfect place for a family holiday. Following a sat nav we found the villa very easy to locate. The villa is situated a short drive from a few villages where you can access supermarkets and local shops. There are some beautiful places to visit that are a short drive away and some that require a bit more of a journey but all very easy to find when following a sat nav. Although a popular area it is still very French and hasn’t been spoiled by the tourist trade. When visiting the local markets you meet a lot of locals who are all very friendly and willing to help (even people like us who know very basic French managed very well) The whole process of a holiday can be very stressful but thanks to Linda we had an amazing time with very little stress. Nothing was too much and if we had any questions or needed anything then it was sorted for us ASAP. We didn’t want to leave and we felt totally at home there. Thoroughly recommend the villa and we hope to pay another visit there soon.

“Perfect for families large or small”

located in a quiet hamlet but still close to lots od towns. local market close by every day. must visit Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, what a great place, try to get there in the evening. Verdon Gorge also is a must see hire a boat and explore the gorge. the villa is fantastic, all the amenities you need, TV inc SKY, DVD Wi-Fi. Kitchen is really well stocked with cutlery and crockery and plastic for outdoor dining at least 2 full sets. Pool is wonderful and with loungers, umbrella, tables as well as floats a great place to spend a lazy day. also try Villecroze for the cave dwellings, so much to do nearby go and take a look

A perfectly equipped holiday home in glorious surroundings and with wonderful views. The tropical garden, lovely outdoor seating areas and stunning large pool mean on lazy days there is no desire or need to move from the property. Nearby villages offer varied markets, shopping and restaurants. Also many interesting visits to be made, including Olive Mill (Aups) and Gorges du Verdon (spectacular!). Further afield the lovely beaches of St Tropez are long and sandy, with turquoise clear water (1hr 30m drive). Just a week here sadly but we will definitely try to return again soon!

Came from Australia to spend a week with family. This place is amazing; beautiful house and swimming pool, amazing garden that reminds me of home. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it caters for everyone. The outdoor area is just beautiful and what a great place to sit and watch the sun goes down. Everything is done to make you feel welcome and at home. I would definitively recommend this place

The villa was extremely well equipped and provided all you would need to enjoy a holiday in Provence with no need to bring anything except your luggage. The large pool is excellent for even large groups, and is heated for those cooler days you might experience. In addition it has a safety cover. The kitchen is particularly well equipped with a number of outside areas, some covered, where you can enjoy an alfresco meal.For those who want to keep in touch via their computers or tablets free Wi-Fi is available, although this is not mentioned in the villa information provided. The villa is ideally located for touring the region, or staying within the grounds of the villa, but it you cannot walk to the nearest village, and it is a 40 minute drive to the nearest large town. On the negative side I did have some difficulty with the booking, but these were quickly overcome with the help of the owner. The directions to the villa could be improved by being more specific.
