“Fantastic first trip to Anglesey”

Reviewed 12 Apr 2018

Stayed for a week during the Easter holidays and had a lovely time. The weather could've been kinder but we did have a few sunshine days. The cottage is in a great location, was warm and cosy with everything we could possibly need. The only thing missing for me was a teapot... but then that's just down to personal preference! Would have no hesitation recommending to friends & family and hope to return ourselves one day. Thank you to Chris & Sarah for letting us stay

Owner's reply: Thanks for the review and we are pleased you enjoyed your first trip to Anglesey.

“Wonderful coastal location with breathtaking views.”

Reviewed 26 Mar 2018

Bryn Meirion is well placed to enjoy the spectacular view over Moelfre Bay with Snowdonia in the distance, The house is comfortable and easy to settle into with all you need to enjoy your holiday.Excellent walks from the front door as the Anglesey Coastal Footpath passes through the village.Despite it being a particularly chilly week(it snowed!) we were able to have a birthday tea in the sunny summer house watching the waves crashing on the rocky shore. What more could you wish for?!!

Owner's reply: Thanks for your lovely comments and I’m pleased you enjoyed your birthday at the cottage taking advantage of the Summer house views even in March. We hope to have you as guests again.

“Perfect short break location”

Reviewed 5 Nov 2017

Everything was exactly as described and the agent's welcome was as warm as the cottage. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the information about the cottage and Anglesey was very useful indeed. It was good to know that help and advice were on hand if needed yet our privacy and space to enjoy our holiday were fully respected. We were very lucky with the autumn weather and were able to enjoy walks on the coastal path, cups of tea on the patio and stunning moonlit views over the sea.

Owner's reply: Thanks for the review, "stunning moonlit views" was most poetic. We do everything we can so that our guests aren't disappointed when you open the door setting standard that we'd expect of a holiday cottage ourselves. Looking forward to having you as a guest in the future.

“Another lovely stay”

Reviewed 1 Sep 2017

Think this was our 5th visit,& it was lovely as always. In a lovely position, property clean & welcoming thanks to Jim & Shirley next door.Fabulous views across the bay to the mountains. We had good weather too which is a bonus. Would suggest that a corner wardrobe or set of drawers would be beneficial in the small bedroom as only other clothes storage is in the other bedrooms, so bit of a privacy issue between children! Shall no doubt be back again.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your comments and its a good point re the single room, we'll have a look to see what is possible. Looking forward to seeing you on your 6th visit !

“Great place”

Reviewed 17 May 2017

This is a house that is obviously used by the family that own it. It has a lovely warm atmosphere that makes you feel instantly comfortable. Well furnished and not short of anything in the kitchen. The garden is brilliant in good weather. It's location in Moelfre is really good and you get good views of the small bay from upstairs.

Owner's reply: I'm pleased you enjoyed Bryn Meirion as much as we do. We aim to provide everything we'd expect ourselves in a holiday cottage. The sea views from the garden are the icing on the cake. See you again soon.

“Pefect Break at Bryn Meirion”

Reviewed 17 Apr 2017

We've just spent a lovely week at Bryn Meirion. The house is surprisingly spacious with everything you could possibly need, right down to the games provided for the kids to play with (& hubby) to keep them off their devices (Connect 4 was their favourite). There are wonderful coastal walks straight from the doorstep, together with the lifeboat station which we were lucky enough to watch go out on a practice launch. We had a couple of lovely meals too at the The Kinmel Arms pub, walking distance just round the corner. All in all, a great base set in a perfect position, we look forward to returning again in the future.

Owner's reply: Thanks for the review, I'm pleased you took advantage of the board games, they are popular with families along with the DVD collection. We are fortunate to be in the heart of the village meaning you can park your car and be on the coast path in less than a minute. See you again in the future.

“wonderful position in pretty village”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2016

The cottage is in a lovely village within walking distance of pub, shops, cafes and beach. The garden gives a lovely view over the bay. The kitchen is very well furnished with everything you could need. There are nice touches like beach chairs to use. The only downside I felt the property could be cleaner, but it was acceptable.

Owner's reply: Judith, thank you for your review regarding your July stay for two weeks. We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean and tidy holiday cottage at a high standard. If you had raised your concerns at the time we would have dealt with it immediately. We hope you enjoyed your holiday. Kind Regards Chris and Sarah.

“Wonderful location”

Reviewed 5 Jul 2015

We stayed there in June and when we left both of us said: for our next stay in Wales we will rent again this cottage. You will find everything you need - in the house as well as out of the house. The owners are very friendly as well as the keyholders. And we were especially lucky with the seagulls on neighbour's roof: first we saw them breeding, after two days we could watch the baby seagulls.

Owner's reply: We look forward to having you as our guests in the future. We like our guests to see the cottage as a home from home so aim to provide what we would expect to find ourselves. Just waiting now for the chicks to fly away now.

“A clean, nodern and comfortable house in a lovely location with stunning views.”

Reviewed 14 Jun 2015

It has a well equipped kitchen and bathroom plus a very useful downstairs toilet. Three good sized bedrooms with hanging space. A lovely garden with nice garden furniture as well as views to die for. It has good parking space(s) and close to the sea and village.

Owner's reply: Thanks for the comments, "views to die for" nicely sum up the location. We are looking forward to seeing you again in the future.

“Beautiful cottage near the sea”

Reviewed 22 Feb 2015

Had a great holiday at the cottage, everything you need for a relaxing break. Owners were great from start to finish . Log fire, sea views, pub down the road what's not to like.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your comments, we are very fortunate to be in a great location in the heart of Moelfre. We hope you visit again to see more of the island.
