“Wonderful location”

Reviewed 5 Jul 2015

We stayed there in June and when we left both of us said: for our next stay in Wales we will rent again this cottage. You will find everything you need - in the house as well as out of the house. The owners are very friendly as well as the keyholders. And we were especially lucky with the seagulls on neighbour's roof: first we saw them breeding, after two days we could watch the baby seagulls.

We look forward to having you as our guests in the future. We like our guests to see the cottage as a home from home so aim to provide what we would expect to find ourselves. Just waiting now for the chicks to fly away now.

“A clean, nodern and comfortable house in a lovely location with stunning views.”

It has a well equipped kitchen and bathroom plus a very useful downstairs toilet. Three good sized bedrooms with hanging space. A lovely garden with nice garden furniture as well as views to die for. It has good parking space(s) and close to the sea and village.

Thanks for the comments, "views to die for" nicely sum up the location. We are looking forward to seeing you again in the future.

“Beautiful cottage near the sea”

Reviewed 22 Feb 2015

Had a great holiday at the cottage, everything you need for a relaxing break. Owners were great from start to finish . Log fire, sea views, pub down the road what's not to like.

Thanks for your comments, we are very fortunate to be in a great location in the heart of Moelfre. We hope you visit again to see more of the island.

“Great location, comfy and cosy ..a relaxing place to stay.”

We have a lovely few days in Moelfre. Accommodation was good, clean and well kitted out. Roomy for us-a family of five. The views from the house and garden were great. Walks straight from the house with lots to do on the island.A charming village.

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay, being able to park the car and head straight to the coast path just a few seconds away is one of the benefits of being so central and near the coast. Thanks for the review.

“Perfect for our needs”

Reviewed 23 Jun 2014

My husband and I stayed at Bryn Meirion for a week at the beginning of June. We chose this rental because of its location and amenities and were not disappointed on either count. A very short walk down the hill brings you to the waterfront and coastal path as well as the tea shop, pub, etc. So convenient! The house itself was scrupulously clean and provisioned with all the amenities that you would want in a home away from home (a big pasta pan was the only thing we missed). The garden area in back overlooking the water is beautiful and a perfect spot to relax and have a drink or a snack. The owners and caretakers were friendly and accommodating even when we called to ask if arriving earlier than we'd planned would be okay (it was). We had a great time and wished we didn't have to leave so soon. Thank you for providing such a special place to spend our time in Wales. Plus, we will always wonder how the seagull chicks that hatched on the next roof over (seen out one of the kitchen windows) are faring. What a treat to witness those three little fluffballs!

You'll be pleased to here the chicks have grown from strength ! We like Bryn Meirion to be as comfortable, clean and as complete as we'd expect from a holiday home ourselves. These combined with a perfect position makes for a lovely holiday.

“Excellent property in a beautiful location”

Reviewed 23 Jun 2014

We have just returned from a fabulous week staying at this lovely property. It is very comfortable and everything you could wish for is provided. The garden and seating area were fully used as the sun shone for the whole week and the view from the garden over the sea to the mountains of Snowdonia was spectacular. You can relax immediately. The agents only being next door was very good and they are both really friendly and helpful. I can recommend the fish and chip shop and Anns Pantry in Moelfre as well as The Old Boathouse at Red Wharf Bay if you want a break from cooking. Hope to be back next year.

Its nice to hear you had a lovely visit, We are lucky to have views over the sea to Snowdonia with our guests taking full advantage of the sunny patio all day long.

“Fabulous cottage, ideal for family holiday”

Reviewed 3 Oct 2013

We had a wonderful week at the cottage, couldn't have been better. Wonderful location, great for evening walks along the coast path, watching the sun set and dolphins in the sea. Near to beaches and attractions on the island. Well equipped house with everything you need, lots of space for a family. Downstairs loo very handy!! Best views from the garden and front bedroom. Lovely to sit in the garden with a glass of wine and watch the sea. Parking great, really easy. Loved staying there, Moelfre is such a lovely place, pub, chippy, beach, gift shop and post office/shop. The guide book could do with a little updating e.g. doesn't mention the Waitrose on the island, but this is a very minor point.

Thanks for your comments, being able to spot dolphins made your holiday extra special ! Bryn Meirion is fortunate to benefit from an excellent location, the patio's south facing sea views provide a perfect backdrop to sit back and relax. With the coast paths being just outside and our parking (which is scarce in Moelfre) make for a hassle free holiday location.

“Fabulous”

Reviewed 12 Apr 2013

Beautiful cottage, beautiful location.. Could not have asked for a nicer place to stay .. Every thing was lovely, clean and organised to a very high standard. The views from the cottage garden patio are to die for !! Generous amount of logs supplied for the lovely burner which was much appreciated.. We love Moelfre and have stayed in local hotels before but am so glad we chose this little gem as we were able totally relax for a few days and enjoy the peace and quiet of this wonderful part of the world. We will be back !!

Thanks for your feedback and lovely comments. We work hard to provide a high standard of accommodation for our guests, from the log basket full on arrival and the sea views waiting for them from the private south facing patio. See you soon.

“Lovely cottage, perfect village location, cosy log burning stove”

Reviewed 7 Apr 2013

We enjoyed a great week in this lovely, clean, comfortable, well equipped house. The log burning stove was a really nice feature. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Great communication from the owners beforehand. Helpful and friendly neighbours who act as agents. Lovely garden with fantastic sea view from patio. Good off road parking. Fabulous central village location. An easy stroll to local amenities - newsagent/general store, pub, cafe, chippy (new owners, gorgeous fish and chips). Wonderful coastal walks virtually from the front door. Lots of info provided, maps etc.

Thanks for your positive comments. I'm pleased you found the information we provided useful, we really want our guests to get the most out of their stay. The location is special meaning you can leave the car on the drive all week if you'd like.

“A credit to the owners - look at the photos - pack your toothbrush!”

Reviewed 12 Jan 2013

Credit we credit is due, this place is very special, it’s not just a home away from home. For sure it’s practical, there’s ample off-street parking for two cars, it’s very well looked after and clean but there’s more. It’s the big things as well as little things, for example it has a log burner so it has logs and it’s family ready, right down to the squabble free dishwasher! The outdoor dining area has superb views of the coast, plus, if you’re that way inclined, the village pub is a just stone skim away. There’s a lot of thought gone on here which is often unusual when the location is a good as Moelfre.

Thanks for your kind words, the log burner is a big hit with all our guests and I'm pleased you enjoyed it. Being to able to park outside the house in Moelfre's village centre is a real benefit saving you a walk from the village car parks. See you again (with your toothbrush of course). Sarah and Chris
