Description

Casa Azzurra provides the comforts of a 'home' while on holiday. Enjoy being part of the local culture of the Sicilian way of life - food and wine take a large part of that!. The countryside and beaches are within easy driving or bus travel time. It is only 30 minutes to the sandy beaches of Marina Modica. There are wineries and food producers to visit. The well equiped kitchen is ideal to try out your cooking skills.
Local restaurants and pizzerias and an icecream seller are all close by for those that do not want to cook.
Set within a quiet neighbourhood it is just a walk away to the centre of Modica Bassa, the chocolate capital of Sicily.
Shops are close by for all your requirements. Dolce Vita !

Modica is now reachable by air.
Comiso Airport is now operational.

Airone and Ryanair will be flying regularly from Rome Milan and London Stanstead.

Newly renovated the property has a tiled floor in brown and blue - for the coolness of summer. It is possible to eat al fresco outside the property in the alley, as it is only used by residents.

This a home away from home for those that like to self cater and not be confined by times and rules.

“Great place to stay - so quiet”

Loved the little house and it neighbourhood. so sweet. I ambled around and found some great photos. The Belvedere has a great view of bassa. Pizza Sile was just a few moments away and there was all that we needed. Thanks .

We had stayed here previously, and we were warmly welcomed by the neighbours who greeted us like old friends. It has a lovely kitchen/diner and excellent bathroom, which has been improved by the addition of a water pump. The bedroom is comfortable and quiet thanks to the very thick walls. We will certainly come again.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
