“Outstanding stay”

Reviewed 4 Oct 2016

We have just returned from a week at Casa Delle Noci and it was amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Roberta is the perfect host. She is there but does not intrude on your holiday in any way. The apartment is immaculate and has everything that you could need or want on holiday. Roberta also supplies a vast amount of breakfast foods for your stay: fruit juices, croissants, bread, jam (homemade), cheese, ham, eggs, herbals teas and coffee. She also gave us a welcome bottle of local wine and a homemade cherry tart for our first cuppa. It was lovely. We were blessed with perfect weather and the pool, jacuzzi and outside space was well used. We were also able to pick grapes straight from the vine. We were looking for a quiet restful week and this was the perfect place for that. A car is essential as you are in the country but there is a small village about 2kms away with a pharmacy, small food shop and a cafe/bar. We had a fabulous time and hope to return again in the near future. Thank you for everything Roberta, you are a star.

“Fantastic stay, everything you could hope for!”

Totally recommend this villa as a place to stay and explore the surrounding region. From the moment I booked this I was excited to visit. Having seen the photos on the website, read the rave reviews and received friendly emails from the owner Roberta, I was looking forward to our stay. Everything was just perfect. A friendly wave greeted us on arrival. The villa had everything we could need - fruit tart and wine on arrival, a fully stocked fridge, spotless rooms, plus all the extras we could need. The pool was lovely and refreshing, toys for the pool, bikes free to use. Roberta and Giorgio were more than obliging, and excellent hosts. Could not recommend this place more. A wonderful find!

“The best and most friendly family style accommodation we have ever experienced in all our world travels”

From the first contact I had with Roberta I felt so comfortable with the villa and knew that it would be good. Well I can tell you it was better than just good; it was fantastic! the 3 bedroom villa with a large lounge and modern kitchen that was stocked with food and drinks was far beyond what anyone would expect. Complimentary wine and liquors and snacks and a large jam tart all included. The surrounding property with it's orchard that you could pick fruit from was great. Because you are out in the country it is so quiet yet only a 5 minute drive if you needed any supplies from the little town of Gaggio I highly recommend the villa to any travellers who want a true taste of Italian hospitality.

“Amazing place to stay, with everything you need to make your holiday relaxing and comfortable.”

What a stunning villa! We arrived to a very warm welcome from Roberta, Giorgio and Paolo. Roberta had provided everything we needed, from breakfast to a beautiful bottle of wine and delicious fruit from their orchard. The villa was extremely well equipped and absolutely spotless, as were the pool area and sun terraces. There are quite a few good restaurants/trattorias close by, one that can be reached on foot although it's about a 20 min walk. There is an excellent shopping centre, with a large supermarket in Modena, but you would need a car for this. Modena is a beautiful place, and Verona is only about an hours drive away, which is a must see. The Ferrari museums are also a treat. We highly recommend this luxury villa for a relaxing holiday.

“You will get more than expected!”

Three of us (husband and a friend - all mid-60s) stayed in this 3bdrm, 2bath house outside Modena. The house was immaculate! Comfortable beds, lots of towels and extra blankets. We even had a washing machine, and Roberta supplied detergent - for that and for the dishwasher. Although we expected to have some breakfast items included in the price, we were overwhelmed with the amount of food and drink supplied: 3 kinds of coffee, many teas, milk, juice, eggs, ham, cheese, bread, cookies, fruit - even beer and wine! Roberta arranged tours for us, too, prior to our arrival: parma ham, parm cheese, wine. Since we did not have a smart phone or other electronic device, Roberta printed directions for us to these tours. There are many brochures in the house, too - on nearby restaurants and towns to visit. We enjoyed our five nights there with Roberta and her family, who live in the other house - just across from the courtyard. This is a wonderful place to stay while you visit this region of Italy! The living quarters are on the second floor of this building (garage and storage under), so be prepared for a dozen+ stairs. Three couples or a family with children, or a group of friends will do well here. One bedroom has a king bed; another a double, and the third has twins pushed together. One bathrm has tub/shower; the other just a shower. The kitchen is large, and the living room even larger.
