Here are just a couple of the reviews from the 100 or so in the visitors book and TripAdvisor..............“Fantastic”5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2015 NEW Myself and my family (8 adults 2 children ) stayed at Forest Corner & Lodge for the New Year it is a truly perfect place the house has a lovely warm atmosphere and is spacious with plenty of room for us all to spread out, 4 of the adults slept in the lodge which is very cosy and filled with lots of fab modern touches they particularly enjoyed the sound system. I myself loved the hot tub. The horses came to visit us on both mornings which the children loved. Both properties were spotlessly clean, all the beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen in the house is fully equipped the owners have thought of everything and we couldn't of asked for anything more I would highly recommend this accommodation. Good communication with Paul the owner who was quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely return as a family group

Location description from owner

The England region

The New Forest has just won Virgin Holidays Responsible Tourism Award for Best Destination in the world - come and visit us to see for yourself how wonderful it is. Forest Corner is set in the peaceful New Forest National Park - where the deer, ponies, donkeys and cattle roam freely. The New Forest has numerous attractions to visit and sites to see. Or ideal for just a peaceful getaway. Every season paints a different picture, bluebells and foals in spring to brilliant leaf colours in autumn.

Ringwood stands on the western edge of the New Forest at a crossing point of the River Avon. For centuries it has been the traditional market town of the New Forest with its market charter dating back to 1226.

Ringwood still has a lively Wednesday morning street market and has remained a delightful, unspoiled historic town with both quaint and modern shops, street entertainment, restaurants, pubs and cafes.

Ringwood features a good selection of shops to browse in including three supermarkets and a wide variety of smaller specialist retailers. Be sure to wander down West Street to view the River Avon from the old three-arched stone bridge or enjoy a stroll around Jubilee Garden. The church too is well worth a visit.

Ringwood is well placed on the Avon valley footpath and ideal for an overnight stop.
There are many other opportunities to discover the area on foot and the visitor information centre can provide details of local town trails and walks.

“Lovely getaway house”

Reviewed 1 Dec 2016

We stayed at this property for 2 nights and had an amazing time! It's in a great location with some fantastic walks on the doorstep. It offers lots of mod-cons such as a great sound system, DVD player and hot tub (which my little boy loved) we would definitely look at staying again! The only negative thing I can think of is the kettle was in need of de-scaling. Other than that would certainly recommend this house for all.

“Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings”

Reviewed 24 Oct 2016

We recently stayed here with our children of 8 and 2. The cottage is very spacious downstairs and has all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Very clean too. The bose sound system and x box were an added bonus that my son loved! The surrounding area is beautiful and the children loved seeing the horses and cows roaming outside every morning. The local pub was very welcoming. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer - maybe next time!

“Perfect break”

Reviewed 6 Oct 2016

We stayed at the cottage with our baby for 4 nights. The cottage is very nicely decorated and feels modern. Downstairs is very spacious and it has extras such as games and dvd's. The kitchen is fully equipped and the whole place was very clean. The shower is nice and powerful which is always a bonus. Location is great, being in the new forest there is always a few ponies around! The farm shop is within walking distance and worth a wander.

“Lovely Location and Property”

Reviewed 27 Sep 2016

The location was really nice, close to local amenities and a short drive down to Bournemouth. There are some brilliant attractions nearby. As we arrived we were greeted by wild horses on the green and they paid numerous visits through our stay which my eldest son (2) loved. The property is nicely decorated and has everything you need for an extended stay, we were concerned about the lack of sides on the stairs as this meant our toddler had to be accompanied whenever near them but this wasn't a problem. The guests staying in the lodge behind the property used the side entrance and so didn't come through the garden. The booklet for the property is a little daunting but it's full of useful information. The WiFi / Internet isn't great or really good enough to use for more than very basic updates and we had to chase after almost two weeks to recover the security deposit which was a shame but once contacted the owners promptly returned the funds.

“Church group stay”

Reviewed 1 Sep 2016

We as a church group had booked Forest Corner end of July. The house was just perfect for us and was pretty close to where we had to go the whole week. We do not camp so the cottage was our best option. The owner and the management are lovely and quite friendly. We would book the same place next year.

“Excellent stay-over address”

Reviewed 18 Aug 2016

Prima plek om te verblijven voor de oversteek terug naar huis. Van buiten sober maar van binnen luxueus ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Leuk die loslopende paarden rond het huis in de ochtend.

“Loved the new forest”

Reviewed 18 Jul 2016

We had a lovely time in new forest and loved the ponies. There is plenty to do for all ages. We found it a nice central location and the pub food near by was lovely

“Amazing property in a great location”

Reviewed 26 Mar 2013

I booked this property after a search of the web to find a location suitable for 3 couple for a long weekend away to celebrate my Father's birthday. The booking process was excellent and I was provided with lots of support in arranging my weekend including recommendations and guidance on restaurant reservations. The house is very easy to find in a great location, with 3 double bedrooms which is very rare when trying to get something for 3 couples. The accommodation offers everything you require during your stay, providing you with a luxury home from home experience. They even provided us with a welcome basket with milk, bread etc which was extremely useful. We took enough food and drink to stay for longer than a weekend, but the accommodation also provides the ability to buy additional key essentials (i.e Wine) if required which we all decided was a great addition. We all had a great weekend and everyone really loved the experience. Thank you again Paul.

“Luxurious, well appointed and full of gadgets”

Reviewed 12 Mar 2013

The pub at the end of the road has lovely food and in the other direction there is a brilliant farm shop to buy fresh produce. We not only had ponies but donkeys and cows came to visit daily.

“Fantastic New Year at Forest Corner”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2013

We stayed at Forest Corner for 3 nights over New Year with 2 other couples (6 of us in total). When we arrived we were thrilled, it more than exceeded our expectations. A beautifully appointed house with a cosy feel and all the mod cons including a great Bose sound system throughout the house. On our first evening we ventured to a nearby pub for dinner (The Old Beams Inn) which was roughly a 10-15 minute walk. The food was delicious and it had a lovely atmosphere. We also visited Ringwood a couple of times (5 min drive) which has some lovely cafés and crafty shops. Would definitely recommend this place to friends & family, we are already planning a trip back in the summer so we can really make the most of the surroundings!
