“The description and pictures do not do justice to this fantastic cottage”

Reviewed 27 Mar 2018

All of the family loved this cottage. clean, tidy, modern inside with a traditional feel. Would recommend to anyone. Kids loved the ponies who came up to the gate on Sunday morning and the ''Bambi'' who walked up the road with it's mother on the Saturday was a wonderful bonus. Hot tub is great after a days shopping in Bournemouth which is easy to get too and well worth the 30 minute trip. Have already told my brother and his family to book later this year and will return soon.

“Great stay”

Reviewed 17 Nov 2017

Second time staying here, great location, lovely house, has everything you need... great break! The local pubs are lovely and serve great food... the house is situated in between both. The house is big and spacious with everything you need for a home from home feel. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay for a couple of days or even taking your family to the New Forrest.

“Lovely cottage stunning location. Will be back.”

Reviewed 25 Apr 2017

Stayed here for 3 days break. Very well equipped cottage in a great location. Pubs and attractions within walking distance and beach only a short drive away. Owner was very helpful. Cottage has everything you need for your stay and very spacious. Looking forward to next time already.

“Lovely getaway house”

Reviewed 1 Dec 2016

We stayed at this property for 2 nights and had an amazing time! It's in a great location with some fantastic walks on the doorstep. It offers lots of mod-cons such as a great sound system, DVD player and hot tub (which my little boy loved) we would definitely look at staying again! The only negative thing I can think of is the kettle was in need of de-scaling. Other than that would certainly recommend this house for all.

“Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings”

Reviewed 24 Oct 2016

We recently stayed here with our children of 8 and 2. The cottage is very spacious downstairs and has all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Very clean too. The bose sound system and x box were an added bonus that my son loved! The surrounding area is beautiful and the children loved seeing the horses and cows roaming outside every morning. The local pub was very welcoming. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer - maybe next time!

“Perfect break”

Reviewed 6 Oct 2016

We stayed at the cottage with our baby for 4 nights. The cottage is very nicely decorated and feels modern. Downstairs is very spacious and it has extras such as games and dvd's. The kitchen is fully equipped and the whole place was very clean. The shower is nice and powerful which is always a bonus. Location is great, being in the new forest there is always a few ponies around! The farm shop is within walking distance and worth a wander.

“Lovely Location and Property”

Reviewed 27 Sep 2016

The location was really nice, close to local amenities and a short drive down to Bournemouth. There are some brilliant attractions nearby. As we arrived we were greeted by wild horses on the green and they paid numerous visits through our stay which my eldest son (2) loved. The property is nicely decorated and has everything you need for an extended stay, we were concerned about the lack of sides on the stairs as this meant our toddler had to be accompanied whenever near them but this wasn't a problem. The guests staying in the lodge behind the property used the side entrance and so didn't come through the garden. The booklet for the property is a little daunting but it's full of useful information. The WiFi / Internet isn't great or really good enough to use for more than very basic updates and we had to chase after almost two weeks to recover the security deposit which was a shame but once contacted the owners promptly returned the funds.

“Church group stay”

Reviewed 1 Sep 2016

We as a church group had booked Forest Corner end of July. The house was just perfect for us and was pretty close to where we had to go the whole week. We do not camp so the cottage was our best option. The owner and the management are lovely and quite friendly. We would book the same place next year.

“Excellent stay-over address”

Reviewed 18 Aug 2016

Prima plek om te verblijven voor de oversteek terug naar huis. Van buiten sober maar van binnen luxueus ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Leuk die loslopende paarden rond het huis in de ochtend.

“Loved the new forest”

Reviewed 18 Jul 2016

We had a lovely time in new forest and loved the ponies. There is plenty to do for all ages. We found it a nice central location and the pub food near by was lovely
