Dhigurah, (meaning long island) is in Alifu Dhaalu atoll, about 20 minutes by plane from the capital, Male'. The island has is narrow but 3 km in length which is considered to be a reasonably long island in the Maldives. With more than 3 km of natural white sandy beach, it is also considered to a beautiful inhabited island.
Nearby have some of the most famous dive spots in the country, such as Kuda Rah Thila, Manta Point and Reethi Thila. Dhigurah is also around the corner from the whale-shark watching locations.

The Alifu Atoll region
The Maldives is located in the Indian Ocean, about 500 Km from the southern tip of both India and Sri Lanka. It is the ideal exotic tropical island paradise.
