Description

A beautiful, newly built cottage on Lake Minocqua with truly first-class furnishings. If you are looking for the best, we have it here. See the many photos on our website. This property has been fully inspected (99.5 out of 100) by one of the state's top associations and holds all licenses and permits to be a legal vacation rental. All the finest amenities here: Fireplace, Whirlpool, Plush, exquisite beds, TV/DVD/VCR and Stereo too. All linens, servingware and utensils, cookware, coffeemakers and other small electrics included. We've thought of everything, so you don't have to bring anything!

We are located only steps to downtown Minocqua and at the head of the Bearskin Trail; a 19 mile bike and hike trail on the old railroad line and have Bike Rentals on site (or closeby too). With canoe, kayak and paddleboat availability to guests and rentals of our Pontoon Boat and 18' Ski Boat, we've got your water fun covered too. And with Picnic Baskets and Romance Packages (Chocolate covered strawberries AND wine), we've got some great additions for your day on the water or off.

Getting around

We don't have Bus Service (we are a small town after all) but there is Taxi service available and as mentioned above, we are a Drive to destination so a car can get you to all our local sights - Wildwood Wildlife Zoo ( a personal favorite of mine); we have many Go Cart/Mini-Golf Choices; Horseback Riding nearby and farther out too; a fabulous amateur Hometown Water Ski Show with our own MinoquaBats; Downtown shopping and eating and fudge too - most of these within walking distance or a very short car ride.

Interaction with guest

As we have a house here on the property, we are (almost :)) always available for guests - we love to talk with our guests but try to give all our guests space to have their privacy if and whenever they wish. We have a welcome wine hour where guests can mingle or go sit on the dock and watch the loons too. But boat rentals and other options on site can be handled by just knocking on the door! Welcome...

We are a Non-Smoking Property - which means no smoking allowed anywhere on our property. And for those guests who happen to be smokers, it is a few steps to the street area, so it still can be done but we don't make it easy, sorry.
