“Best self-catering cottage with home comforts and friendly owners”

Reviewed 11 Jan 2012

I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. We travelled from Australia and stayed for 18 days. Pat and Chris were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay (this included a Christmas Tree set for our arrival and a welcome kitchen hamper). The cottage is furnished to a very high standard which made it a perfect home from home experience. It is set in beautiful surroundings. The cottage has easy access to the motorway (M62) and Hollingworth Lake is beautiful and worth a walk. When we next need to visit family in England, we would love to stay again if it was available.
