Villa Vatena is accessed by a private road in the village of Giolou and the elevated position provides superb views of the countryside. The property was originally designed as two separate but adjoining houses, each offering 3 bedrooms, a modern and fully kitchen and ample lining areas, therefore, guests staying at Vatena will be able to benefit from split accommodation, ideal perhaps for two families staying together. In contrast, the garden, good sized swimming pool and large terraces are shared and thus providing a substantial entertainment area for up to 12 guests.

All the accommodation is set out on one floor, with two en-suite double bedrooms and 4 en-suite twin bedded rooms. The village of Gioulou can be found about midway between Paphos and Polis and close to the Ayii Anargyri Natural Spa at Miliou.

The Paphos District

Paphos is a large resort and is well worth visiting for its historical sites in particular. The villa and the small towns of Polis and Latchi are about a 40 minute drive away.

Miliou

The Polis and Latchi area is a relatively unknown part of Cyprus, providing an array of traditional Cypriot villages, tavernas and beachfront restaurants and small bars. Access to the Akamas Peninsula enables visitors to explore the local nature in this under developed region. There are plenty of activities for visitors ranging from luxury Spa retreats, water-sports and boat trips from the delightful Latchi Harbour, walking trails and horse riding and clean and quiet beaches for the perfect holiday relaxation, away from the busy crowds of the large resorts such as Paphos. Many visitors rightly describe the Akamas region of Cyprus as the 'real Cyprus' and many return to the area time and time again.
