"Lovely farmhouse-lived up to expectations!"
We very much enjoyed our stay at Willowfarmhouse. Very comfortable accommodation & good location for visiting beauty spots, beaches etc. Owners & their son very helpful & nothing was too much trouble for them. Children enjoyed visiting the animals & collecting fresh eggs. Would certainly stay here again despite the poor weather & would recommend it to family & friends. Evelyn, Frank & family

"It felt like coming home."
We had a lovely, warm welcome from John and Dolores. The home-made bread was delicious and much appreciated on arrival. The turf fire in the sitting room was delightful and made things very cosy in the evenings. The turf was replenished regularly by the turf fairy. The farmhouse is very spacious and coped easily with our party of nine. The food in the local pub, The Travellers' Inn," was fantastic and great value for money, unfortunately they only served food at the weekend, as it was off season. The house is located close to the town but in a quiet and idyllic setting. All in all, a fantastic place to re-charge the batteries and we would all hope to return in the not too distant future. Thank you both for your hospitality.

"The house is a large, spacious, well kept property suitable for a large number of people."
We were welcomed by the owners and shown the property, We were reassured that should we need anything he was available. A beautiful touch was a large home made scone of bread and 12 farm fresh eggs left in the kitchen- it was really appreciated. We were also given a constant supply of turf for the open fire in the living room- a really homely touch. We were having a family wedding from the property and found it to be very suitable both for space on the morning of wedding and also for accommodating the guests whom we entertained after the reception. The house is located a short distance outside of Milford and although private with beautiful views it is not isolated. Really enjoyed our stay and the house was admired by the people who visited us.

"home from home"
upon arrival we were welcomed by dolores with a lovely turf fire blazing and immediately felt at home, the farm house was very cosy and homely with plenty of space for all of us, 11 in total including 2 babies, dolores and john had cots set for us in the rooms so the checking in process was very straight forward and easy, the house was extensively equipped with everything including dishwasher which came in very handy, we were able to bring our sky box to the house and it worked flawlessly, i cant speak highly enough of willow farmhouse and we will definatly be returning in the future.

"Great place to stay, home from home!"
We travelled as a family including young children, grandma & pets! The house was suitable for all of us, everything we needed was there. It is so spacious and comfortable there was room for everyone. Our children loved the garden & we had lovely weather so we managed to eat 'al fresco' on the decking! There are some amazing beaches to visit nearby. Fab holiday!

"Peace and space away from it all"
A great property with lots and lots of space for children to run around, indoors and outdoors, well away from any roads in a secluded and tranquil setting. The property has lots of room for storage, an extra fridge and freezer in the outhouse and best of all, a covered area where we could get the wetsuits dry even if it rained. Milford itself is a lovely little town in a great position to explore the spectacular beaches on Fanad. It's got a good butcher and various convenience stores and a supermarket. We hope to book again for next summer.

We had a brilliant time in Milford, 10 of us and our dog stayed for the weekend the house comfortably sleeps 10 with 4x double beds and 2 single beds, four of the bedrooms have en-suites 1 with disabled access.
