We bought our cabin 5 years ago for our family to have weekends away. We loved the area so much that we have now moved house near here.

Our Cabin is a little different from most - it has full central heating with a thermostat - we have a very large bedroom one with Large Double size bed, television, dressing table, bed side tables with lights, chest of drawers, 2 double wardrobes - with a luxury walk in shower en-suite.

Bedroom two has 2 single beds with wardrobe and a cot can be provided

Please bring your own sheets, duvet covers, pillow slips, Towels and Tea towels.

Family bathroom has bath with shower attachment for washing hair, toilet and sink

The living area is very cosy with a gas log burner as centre point with 2 half leather settees -one being a double sofa bed. TV and DVD player and play station. A folding dining table with chairs - High chair is provided FREE

The kitchen area is well equipped for light meals. Gas hob, George Foreman grill, Toaster, Microwave, Dishwasher, Large fridge and Large freezer. It has a small oven/grill, I believe while on holiday you should not have to spend time cooking!

There are many pubs, restaurants and take away services with Shorefields eating and entertainment facilities at the club house. There is a launderette on site if you wish to do washing.

Our cabin is in a quiet part of the park with a fishing lake 2 minutes walk away. A walk to the sea is 15 minutes and to the club house and shop etc. The New Forest is a 10 minute drive where you come across ponies, donkeys, cows and even pigs in the road! Such a magical place to explore.

Shorefields is a 5 star holiday park where you can relax on our balcony or join in with the entertainment and shows, There are 2 swimming pools, sauna, steam room, fitness suite and a spa treatment room.

All the entertainment for the children from nature trails to sport/dancing shows etc. Passes can be bought at reception

Getting around

Take the open top tour bus from Shorefields to see the New Forest. You will see ponies and donkeys roaming freely around the roads and villages, you may even come across a heard of cows in the road!

“Great lodge”

The lodge was great! Lots of room and comfy furniture to relax. Situated in a very peaceful part of shorefield country park. We walked to the beach(10 mins) the lodge was warm and cosy, and plenty around to see and do! We would definitely consider going back again. Great for our little dog. We didn’t use the park facilities this time but will next time. Our only negative was that the bed was extremely low and my husband had to sleep in the other room as he could not get up from the bed, probably need to give this thought if you are over 65! Fortunately I had taken an extra single bed set, so wasn’t disastrous! We ate out mostly, but would probably take some readymeals as the oven is a very small counter oven. But there is also a microwave. Would go back again.

“Perfect dog friendly location”

The lodge is immaculate, spacious and in a very quiet location on the holiday park. The fishing lake was 2 minutes away and full of fish, the path to the beach was just as close and we enjoyed a very pretty woodland walk from the site to Milford. The beach nearby was ideal for jogging and for walking the dog. We had a very enjoyable few days and hope to return. Julie's communication was always swift.
