Location description from owner

The England region

The picturesque New Forest coast stretches from Southampton Water, past Beaulieu and Lymington rivers and on to Keyhaven, a small fishing and sailing harbour just one mile from Milford on sea. From our spacious New Forest holiday homes you can enjoy cliff top walks and the nearby beaches, whilst just over two miles away is the timeless beauty of the New Forest National Park.
When William the Conqueror saw these acres of deer filled heathland, pretty glades and wild wood more than 900 years ago he couldn't believe his luck! As a result the New Forest was to become a royal playground, set aside, guarded and preserved for the lucky few.

Now the New Forest is a National Park and nowadays everyone can visit this special area, shaped and preserved by the New Forest Commoners and Ponies for which is has become famous.

Day trips to the Isle of Wight, Salisbury, Winchester, Stonehenge, Bournemouth, Beaulieu Motor Museum, Exbury Gardens or Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park will keep you busy!

Milford on Sea

Charming Milford on sea and nearby Keyhaven both enjoy stunning views of Hurst Spit, Hurst Castle, the Isle of Wight and the Needles. The traditional village has an excellent range of shops, four pubs, 6 restaurants, a wine bar and a traditional fish and chip shop - you do not go hungry or thirsty in Milford! Most of them are within a simple stroll from Mulberry Barn. There are some breath taking cliff top walks, good nearby beaches, whilst nearby Hurst Castle, dating from Tudor times when it was built by Henry V111, is well worth a visit.
