Location description from owner

The Lombardy region

Milan sits on the "Padana" plain in the shadow of the Alps. Hot and humid in the summer, cold and damp in the winter. The second largest city in Italy after Rome with 2.5 million population. It has a beautiful medieval city centre and lot to see and do for the tourist. Lombary region is accessible from Milan by train or car. Lake Como and Lake Maggiore are definitely recommended to visit.

“Un nid parfait ! (a perfect nest)”

Reviewed 27 Dec 2015

“Brilliant”

Reviewed 23 Jun 2015

I can't fault this apartment, everything you need is close by and its a short tram ride to the centre. The area is also great. David was very helpful with directions. We had a wonderful stay.

appreciate your review! thanks

“Great Location, ideal for couples”

Reviewed 28 May 2015

The apartment is compact but meets all your requirements. The location is fantastic. Just a few meters from the canal and very near the bars and restaurants which come alive on an evening. David, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful.

appreciate your review, thanks!

“Great place to stay- highly recommend”

Reviewed 15 May 2015

We had a great stay at the apartment in Milan. It is very clean, well equipped, and exactly as the pictures look online. The second floor bedroom loft is spacious and has a seating area, too. We successfully used the WiFi and the restaurants along the canal are plentiful. The grocery store is just around the corner. The apartment is very secure and the doorman and wife are so wonderfully helpful. David is always available to answer questions and is easy to communicate with.

thanks for your very nice review

“The perfect apartment!”

Reviewed 15 Apr 2015

David's apartment is exceptionally well stocked, charming, and comfortable. It is in a very lively part of Milan with many restaurants and businesses nearby. There are streetcar and subway stops a short walk away. David was very responsive and helpful from the initial inquiry to the departure. He met us when we got out of the cab and even carried our fifty pound suitcase up one flight of stairs. He arranged for our cab ride back to the train station. The courtyard of the building is lovely. There was some noise from an adjacent apartment but nothing out of the ordinary for a big city apartment.

thanks for your kind review, I do appreciate your comments.

“A brilliant place to stay”

Reviewed 8 Jun 2014

Me and my fiancé stayed in this apartment for a long weekend during May. The apartment was perfect. Great facilities, perfect location and very accessible to the city center. The landlord/owner was very accommodating and provided a great service. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

thanks for your very nice review!

“Perfect flat in perfect location for a Milan break”

Reviewed 2 Jan 2014

There's a touch of 'quart into pint pot' about this apartment. Beautifully kitted out in an apartment block on the edge of the central part of Milan but very close to the Navigli restaurants. Tram to the Dumo (#3) just a short walk away and the Metro about ten minutes walk, so well positioned for travel into the centre as well. David, the owner, greeted us at the door and couldn't have been nicer. I'm sure he would have helped us if we'd needed anything but in fact the flat had everything we needed, right down to an ironing board, and he even kindly provided bottles of water. Even the shower was a good one (if a bit of a tight fit). And finally, a great meal tip: Trattoria Magolfa. Not on the canal itself, just around the corner, but the pizzas were delicious and very cheap. If you're flying into Linate then we recommend getting a taxi as it only cost 20 Euro. The taxi back was from the rank near the #3 tram stop. All very convenient.

thank you!

“An amazing find more like a one bed apartment than a studio”

Reviewed 14 Aug 2013

Everything about the apartment was lovely spacious, clean and lovely and light. It had everything we needed from a full kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning and a lovely separate mezzanine bedroom up the stairs. David was great he trusted us without a deposit and was on hand to welcome us and show us how everything worked . The apartment was on the canal within a small courtyard so very quiet but close to the nightlife of the Naviglio area We can wait to come back and stay for longer

you are very welcome to return! thanks for taking the time to write.

David was more of a host than a landlord. He was most helpful about all aspects of staying in Milan. The area of the apartment was interesting and the photos of the apartment were very accurate in fact it was better than the photos led you to expect, unlike other places we have stayed.all in all we would love to return.thanks David.

thanks and look forward to seeing you again sometime in the future. best regards

“Very well situated and has all the home comforts you could possibly need!”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2013

This apartment has everything you would need to make your stay a memorable one. It is very clean, tastefully furnished and contains all utensils for cleaning and cooking, even an iron and ironing board! David (the owner) went out of his way to ensure that our stay there was pleasant and comfortable. He even left a map of Milan for our use and instructions on how to get to the closest Metro, supermarket, which restaurants he would recommend etc.

thanks for your nice review!
