Modern, exclusive, air-conditioned apartment for 5 people. English, Spanish and Polish speaking service provided. The apartment is located in the first beach-line in wonderful holiday village in Spain – Riviera del Sol (east of Marbella city). Big swimming-pool, beautiful garden full of greenery, renovated tennis court and private exit to the beach. New-built wooden boardwalk by the beach where quests can admire long walks next to the sea.

The 65sqm apartment (oriented to the east) is located in one of the three buildings of Lubina del Sol Complex. On the first floor, with spectacular sea view from the balcony. It has two bedrooms, recently renovated bathroom, furnitured balcony and very well equipped kitchen connected with spacious living room with the exit to the balcony. There is air-conditioning in the apartment. During the high season the development is under constant security protection. Internet access (Wi-Fi) is also included in the price.

There is also an iron and ironing board, sunbeds, parasol. Everything at the Guests' disposal.

…so our guests just need to get to the Complex, which may also not be a problem because the owner’s friend can organize transfers from the Malaga Airport for an additional fee (please contact the owner if it’s needed).

Bedrooms:

Two cosy, nicely arranged bedrooms: one with big double bed, wardrobe and sea view through the window; the second with comfortable foldaway bed (creating two single beds). The bedding and towels included in the rental price.

Living room & balcony:

Our guests can admire beautiful Mediterranean Sea view from furnitured balcony.

There is big and comfortable sofa with a coffee table, satellite TV and one large dining table with five chairs.

Bathroom:

Recently renovated bathroom with large shower, sink, mirror, toilet and washing machine. It’s modern and practical.

Kitchen:

The kitchen is connected with the living room and it’s fully equipped: fridge with freezer, cooker, oven, electric kettle, toaster and other appliances necessary to prepare any kind of meal (wide range of cutlery, plates, bowls, pots, heatproof dishes, grater, boards etc.).

The Costa del Sol region

The sandy beach Playa Lucera is very clean, looked-after and watched by professional life-guards. Even during the high season the beach is not overcrowded like in bigger towns as Benalmadena or Fuengirola. You can easily find place for sunbeds, parasols and towels. Many showers installed around the beach. New-built wooden boardwalk by the beach where guests can admire long walks next to the sea. There are two supermarkets in a walking distance (about 200 meters away), different local shops and services. Every Thursday evening (in the high season) a Spanish local market is taking place over there. Many bars and ethnic restaurants around (Spanish, Indian, Italian etc.).

Mijas

Private outdoor swimming pool (about 20 meters long) and free-of-charge tennis court. It is located next to a carriageway ramp, which practically does not cause any problems. The sunbeds and the parasols on the swimming pool are complimentary. Two showers next to the pool. The pool is not guarded - rules of usage are in force. There is also very beautiful, looked-after, big garden. Feet shower next to the exit to the beach. The gates leading to the beach are closed with a key (just for Lubina del Sol residents and guests). The neighbourhood is clean, tidy and calm.

Getting around

There are all facilities within walking distance so car hire is not necessary. However, there is always a possibility of cheap car rental in the Fetajo company (about 400m away) or other. The resort is located just next to a bus stop (the bus goes to the most interesting towns and cities at the seaside like Marbella, Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Puerto Banus, Malaga). Distances to the most worth-to-see cities in Andaluzia: Marbella = 17km (10mi) Fuengirola = 14km (9mi) Puerto Banus = 26km (17mi) Malaga = 45km (28mi) Gibraltar = 94km (58mi) Ronda = 78km (48mi) Sevilla = 244km (151mi) Granada = 163km (161mi)

Interaction with guest

“Great Little Apartment”

Lubina del Sol is a very smart and upmarket urbanisation right on the beach at Riviera del Sol with beautifully kept gardens and high level security. This apartment, whilst not directly front line, offers a superb view from the balcony and living/dining room. The pool is enormous and very well maintained with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas set in manicured gardens. The complex is very secure with locked entry gates into the apartment buildings and also on to the beach. There is a delightful boardwalk running all the way around the coast to La Cala with plenty of beach bars and smart restaurants to stop at on the way. We did not need a car as it was so easy to get a bus, (stop outside the complex) which will take you to Marbella, Mijas, Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Malaga for a single fare of 1.65 euros. Taxis are also plentiful with a taxi rank just across the road. There is a 24 hour supermarket (closed Sunday) across the road and the beautiful upmarket restaurant and bar Chez Max right next door, which we visited several times - the main restaurant is expensive but the lunch terrace and bar are very reasonable and offer food until 7pm. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay - the apartment is bijoux but very smart and well maintained. We will almost certainly be returning next year.
