Owner's reply: How do you control a bird to sing !? or a meow cat?!? because I do not have the power to control the street dogs or the neighbors, we talk about it when they accuse my baby dog ​​of barking all night! No one has the power to control the mouths of dogs that are not ours, right ?! We are in the countryside, at a time where all the people are on vacation and take their animals! All people who have animals have to have the awareness that barking is the way dogs express themselves for various reasons, such as being in a strange place! ... by being in contact with unknown animals and people! there are so many reasons why dogs bark and express themselves! In relation to air conditioning, I repeat again, it was a bump of energy that we all suffer here in this area, where the arrangement has to be made or subsist by the company that supplies electricity, (EDP) I can not get around all the bureaucracy that we have in Portugal! unfortunately that's the way it is, believe it or not, we've done everything we could to resolve the situation. Ninguem tem o poder de controlar as bocas dos cães que não são nossos, certo?! Estamos no campo, numa altura onde todas as pessoas estão de ferias e levam os seus animais! Todas as pessoas que tem animais tem que ter a consciência que ladrar é a forma de expressão dos cães por varias razões, como estar num local estranho!.... por estar em contacto com animais e pessoas desconhecidos! são tantas as razões para os cães ladrarem e se exprimirem!.... Em relação ao ar condicionado, mais uma vez repito, foi um pique de energia que todos sofremos aqui nesta zona, onde o arranjo tem que ser feito ou subsistido pela companhia que fornece energia eléctrica,(EDP) também não tenho como contornar toda a burocracia que dispomos em Portugal! infelizmente é assim que são as coisas, e acredite ou não, nós fizemos tudo o que estava ao nosso alcance para poder resolver a situação. Why can't I call Dénise (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Dénise (the owner) a message.

If Dénise (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
