Hollybank is an attractive & high standard detached modern bungalow in the tiny hamlet of London Apprentice 2 miles from St Austell, Cornwall. Between the Eden Project & Heligan Gardens. The harbour of Charleston, St Austell & the excellent beach at Pentewan Sands are 2 miles. Mevagissey is 4 miles. Short stroll to a restaurant; pub 1 mile. The bungalow is in a country setting on a hillside with beautiful views over Kings Woods and the Pentewan valley. It is one of 3 properties at the end of a short private lane. Enclosed surrounding lawns with shrubs & trees and having a patio (table & seating) with excellent views from patio over the valley. Steps up to property so not suitable for disabled. Linen inclusive. Electric inclusive. Central heating inclusive but between Sept 29 to March 23 is available at £15 per week, payable upon arrival. Log affect electric fire in lounge. Parking space on private gravel drive for 1 car (2nd car on road). 1 small dog welcome.

The Cornwall region

Mevagissey is a picturesque and working fishing village about 5 miles from St Austell. The village nestles in a small valley and faces east to Mevagissey Bay. The inner and outer harbours are busy with a mixture of pleasure vessels and working fishing boats, the remains of a once major industry. However, tourism has supplanted fishing as the dominant industry in recent years.

The village consists of narrow streets with lots of places to eat and shops aimed at the tourist trade. Excellent beaches at Pentewan Sands just outside of St Austell. St Austell is also home to the Eden Project.
