Fully furnished apartment (39.50 sq m) including electrical appliances, dishes and linens: separate kitchen; antechamber with washing machine, bathroom with shower; bedroom that sleeps 2 people. Air conditioning. Smoking and animals are prohibited in the apartment.

The apartment was renovated and entirely refurnished in september-october 2012.

Whether you plan to come for work, study or vacation, or you decide to stay for a few days or for a long period of time, at sara's house you will feel at home.

Sara's house is located in a strategic area on the Venetian terra firma: fifteen minutes from the historical centre of Venice, less than thirty minutes from Padua and Treviso, an hour from Belluno and less than two hours from Verona and Vicenza. seaside resorts in the Veneto can also be easily reached in little time.

Venice-Marghera is well-connected by public transport, only ten minutes from the Mestre train station and twenty minutes from the Venice Marco Polo international airport. in terms of convenience and local services (shops, restaurants, supermarkets, cinema, fitness centres) it is the ideal solution for those who want to visit the historical centre of Venice without leaving out other attractions in the area. the advantages above also make it an excellent location for those looking for temporary accommodation for work or study.

City tax/Tourist tax

Venice is a unique city in the world!

Every year more than 20 million visitors are amazed at the sight of the City.

With a small sum of money even you will become one of the City’s sponsors, contributing to safeguarding it.

From the 24th of August 2011, all visitors who stay in an accommodation facility within the territory of the Municipality of Venice have to pay the “Tourist tax”.

The collected funds will help the City improve the quality of the tourist services (services, museums, events,...) and finance works aimed at maintaining, using and salvaging the city’s cultural and architectural heritage.

You pay the tax cash when you check-in and the host will pay it to the Municipality of Venice.

The tax is due only for the first five days of stay. Children under 10 years of age are exempted, juveniles between 10 and 16 years of age benefit from a 50% reduction.

In2019 the tax rate is:

a. January2019: 2,80 euro for each person/day

b. for the rest of2019: 4 euro for each person/day

We don't understand why you gave a lower rate to the directions to the home (after booking the apartmnet and having comunicate how you were going to travel to Venice, you received a detailed email with the directions from the airport to our home. As the public transport siystem had been changed for some days, we offered to pick you and your family at the stop of the bus shuttle from the airport; we picked you at the train station of Mestre up and drove you by car at home. From Treviso airport to the train station of Mestre there is a direct bus ....) and why you gave a lower rate to the access to the property (we live in the same building and we gave you the key after have picked you three at the train station up). We would like to know what we did wrong, so that we can do it better next time... We hope to meet you again. Best regards

Why can't I call Lia (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lia (the owner) a message.

If Lia (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
