Description

Little Fursdon holiday apartment and Luxury Yurt Camping in the heart of rural Cornwall on the edge of historical Bodmin Moor. We have a lovely spacious holiday apartment and three beautiful hand crafted yurts available from March-mid September.Both are fully furnished with a king sized bed, modern oak furniture and the yurts each have a wood burning stove fitted to keep out the evening chill. Each yurt also has a fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons in an adjacent barn for your use with leather sofas and excellent dining facilities. There are also decked areas around the barn with BBQ and outside tables and chairs.
You will also have your own private heated shower room, so no sharing. There is a wonderful landscaped firepit area with solar lighting and seating.
This is camping in the lap of luxury.
All towels and bedding provided in the cost....we even supply your first basket of logs free.

The holiday apartment is situated in a sunny location to the rear of our own property and it has its own private entrance via a conservatory and its own private deck.
Our yurts are situated in a large enclosed paddock with plenty of space to play ball games or for the children to run around. There are large decked areas around the barn with outdoor patio furniture and a separate firepit where you can have a barbecue or just sit around an open fire and relax.

“A wonderful, magical experience”

This was our second stay with David and Lindsey and we were welcomed back like old friends. It can be disappointing to return to somewhere and attempt to recreate the same experience but we needn't have worried. Everything from beginning to end was exactly as we remembered it, wonderful. Great location, fantastic facilities and not forgetting discrete but attentive hosts.

I highly recommend a stay at Luxury Cornish Yurts at Little Fursdon. We had such a warm welcome from David and Lindsay, not to mention Sid the Dog and Reggie the Cat also made us feel welcome! The yurts are immaculate and spacious despite five adult sharing one yurt. Plenty of room for three made up futons along with the king size bed which was incredible comfy! Loved the woodburner in the evenings and the lanterns lit with candles (There is no electric in the yurts). The CowShed was again kept immaculate. The kitchens are equipped with everything you need and more. A nice touch was the corner as you walk having a football table and games and toys for children and selection of books - both for children and adults. I enjoyed the odd bottle of wine sitting outside on the veranda at the large outdoor table watching the rabbits across the other field in the evenings. The firepit was lovely in the evenings- proper logs used. First bundle of logs complimentary and the £5 for each bundle- Bargain. Each yurt has their own desinated kitchen and shower room. The shower rooms we had were lovely. All you need for a few days to a weeks stay. There is also a room behind the kitchen/bathrooms where BBQ equipment is kept, along with washing machines and dryer, garden toys, logs etc. Ideal location to explore this part of the country- Lost Gardens of Heligan, Japanese Gardens, Healy'e Cyder Farm and a day at Looe are all we managed to do. The weather wasn't too great the last two days we were there but we went begining of May. I can't wait to go back again- so much to do and see.
