2 bedroom historic house, entierly remodeled, located in historic center of Merida.

Visit all day historic places and come back home to relax with a drink near the pool before you go out for diner in one of the great restaurants of Merida.

A 15 minutes walk seperates the house from the main attraction of Merida the Plaza grande where is located the main Cathedral. La Hermita church is a 5 minute walk from the house. Also about 5 minutes walking distance from the house there is the Merida public market where you can find meat, vegetables and fruits (go before noon).

The place you will spend the most of your time at home is the covered terrace. It is so relaxing to have a meal outside with a view of the pool and garden. The backyard is very intimate and has a large pool 12' X 24'. In your free time you can pick limes and oranges in the trees and make yourself homemade limonade.

House is located on 75 between 60 and 62 in historical center.

From there, you can walk to most of the main attractions. If you dont like to walk, 60 and 62 are bus routes to everywhere in and out of Merida. If you have a car it's easy to park in the street in front of the house. 75 is a quiet street.

Merida is a beautiful and safe city. We own the house since 2007 and travel there twice a year with our 2 childrens (9 and 3) and we all enjoy it a lot.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sophie (the owner) a message.

If Sophie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
