Horseshoe Cottage is a delightfully converted barn situated in Mentmore`s old stable yard. The beautiful red brick stable blocks of the old yard have been tastefully and sympathetically renovated to form a charming development of gabled period cottages. These cottages surround the old yard that now serves as an attractive private courtyard for resident`s and tenant`s use. Mature treetops can be seen from the first floor windows, towering above the clay-tiled roofs. Mentmore is an attractive Buckinghamshire village with a pub/restaurant.

There are two double bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower room with toilet and washbasin and the second bedroom benefits from a tv. There is also a separate bathroom with bath, washbasin and toilet.

The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, freezer, cooker, hob and microwave. There is a washing machine located in the garage for guest`s use. The dining/sitting room has a comfortable sofa and provides

“Snap it up”

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this picturesque windmill set in the owner's well kept estate. Leisurely breakfast on the patio, listening to sheep, then the days spent on gentle walks, nearby Wipsenade Zoo or various splendid gardens. Great location.
