Description

The cottage has been completely refurbished to the highest standard and can now comfortably sleep 6 people or 7 people with the use of a sofa bed in the second lounge area. It is fully centrally heated and equipped to meet everybody's needs.

The décor has been kept bright to give a spacious feel to all the rooms and the living area on the ground floor is especially sociable being open plan L shape to include the kitchen, dining area and lounge. It is from these rooms that the best views can be appreciated over the surrounding countryside and views of the Snowdonia mountains and the double patio doors can be wide open in the summer or closed with curtains pulled for a snug feel in the winter.

Adjoining this room is a carpeted second lounge which is cosy and accommodates the sofa bed. The cottage is on a working farm and children will love to explore the fields, rivers and woodlands whilst you enjoy the peaceful patio area overlooking the splendid views.

“What a lucky find!!”

Reviewed 29 Aug 2012

We have just come back from our second two week visit to the cottage and are hoping to return again next year! The cottage is beautifully equiped and has a gorgeous modern open plan kitchen/dining/sitting area - with wonderful views over the field and mountains in the distance. Fabulous hot tub and use of tennis court which out 5 teenagers thought was 'lush!' Very private. A real escape but Judith and Dominic are there if you ever need anything. So friendly and helpful. A perfect location to explore Anglesey, The Straits and the Mountains. We all absolutely loved it!

“A beautiful cottage - perfect location kids loved it!”

Reviewed 3 Aug 2012

We stayed 4 nights in late July early August 2012. The cottage was perfect for us, the kids loved the horses on the field at the back of the house and the space and freedom of being on a farm. The cottage was clean and welcoming. The owners left a welcome pack which was perfect whilst we waited for supermarket shop to arrive. The location was really good lots to do all within a short drive. The kids loved the hot tub. All in all we had a great short break, the wi fi is provided via a dongle with a usb connector so was no good for ipads we had taken, but not a huge problem for us.

“Cosy cottage in great location”

Reviewed 23 Jul 2012

Modern, renovated cottage with excellent facilities a few minutes from main road yet quite enough for peaceful break. Owners very helpful with any issues. We stayed with 3 adults and 3 children and had plenty of space for all. Friendly cat, dog, horses and chickens nearby kept kids amused.

“Superb”

Reviewed 28 Jun 2012

We have just come back from spending a fantastic weekend at Millpond cottage. The cottage exceeded expectations and was fully equipped with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The hot tub in the garden was amazing!! There was five of us in my party and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Millpond cottage is in a superb location, 10 minutes from the town and with great eating places nearby. We have recommended this cottage to others and will definitely be returning!
