“Fantastic”

Reviewed 2 Jun 2019

Ideally located for the centre of Menai Bridge yet tucked away up a private drive. Two minutes to Waitrose, handy for coffee and newspapers! We took the owner's advice and visited Caernarfon Castle and Newborough beach and there are so many lovely places within driving distance that you're spoilt for choice. The cottage has everything you could possibly need including quality bedding, towels, tea, coffee, hairdryer etc you do not need to bring anything.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your lovely review. I'm glad you enjoyed the cottage. Mair

Excellent location in Menai Bridge, with all local amenities within walking distant. The property is well equipped for any length of stay with good quality furnishing. This is a excellent base to visit the numerous attractions of North Wales, with plenty of great walks on your door step.

“Wonderful!”

Beautiful cottage well equipped for a lovely stay to enable you to explore the stunning N Wales scenery surrounding Menai Bridge and along the coastal paths of Anglesey. Thank you so much for the flowers and wine on arrival...such a nice touch and so thoughtful! Would love to come back again, we were sad to leave x

“Spacious, quiet, comfortable, well equipped cottage for two”

Reviewed 6 Oct 2018

We stayed here for a week to explore Anglesey and Snowdonia and it was just right for us. The cottage had everything we needed including good WiFi and plenty of different good places we found to eat out within walking distance. It has a beautiful garden attached which we imagine must be great for relaxing summer evenings with a few glasses of wine. Self catering is also very convenient here as there is a Waitrose store just five minutes walk away.

“Well appointed & charming spacious cottage”

We have just spent a relaxing 4 nights at this fabulous cottage. It is ideally placed for visiting the many beaches and attractions on Anglesey It is tucked away yet a short stroll takes you to Waitrose, 2 pubs and a Chinese restaurant! We cannot praise this beautiful property enough. Although we didn’t get to meet the owners on this occasion It was obvious that they want everything perfect for your stay! We will definitely be back!

Owner's reply: Thank you very much. I’m sorry we didn’t get to meet you but I’m happy you had a pleasant stay. Best regards, Mair

“Accommodation was perfect, very well positioned and well equipped”

Reviewed 10 Sep 2017

The location of the cottage was quiet and secluded but within easy walking distance of the village for evening meals out in the numerous pubs and restaurants and necessary supplies (Waitrose on doorstep). Easy access to Snowdonia National Park and also the more local attractions on Anglesey, including boat trips to Puffin Island from Beaumaris. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the cottage was extremely well equipped, clean and modern.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review. I'm glad you had an enjoyable time and found plenty to do in this area. Best wishes, Mair

“A Fantastic Cottage”

Reviewed 18 Apr 2017

We spent 2 nights at this beautful cottage, using it as our base for a walk up Snowdon. The cottage is truely wonderful, has everything you could need for a self catering cottage and both looks and feels so much like home. The bedroom is excellent with a lovely comfortable bed - perfect for resting a weary body after a long days walking. To be honest I cannot find a single fault. Communications with the owner were also excellent = we've never experienced such good, polite and caring communications. We are so grateful to Mair for everything. When we visit the area again we will definitely be hoping it is free for us to book once again.
