Very Good

“Ideal location, superb cottage”

Reviewed 22 Feb 2018

We have just spent a relaxing 4 nights at this fabulous cottage. It is ideally placed for visiting the many beaches and attractions on Anglesey It is tucked away yet a short stroll takes you to Waitrose, 2 pubs and a Chinese restaurant! We cannot praise this beautiful property enough. Although we didn’t get to meet the owners on this occasion It was obvious that they want everything perfect for your stay! We will definitely be back!

Owner's reply: Thank you very much. I’m sorry we didn’t get to meet you but I’m happy you had a pleasant stay. Best regards, Mair

Perfect location to use as a base for sight seeing around Anglesey . The accommodation is very well maintained and the owners are very helpful when asked for anything nothing is too much trouble .

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your review. I’m glad you enjoyed staying in my little house and were able to visit this beautiful island. Mair

“Accommodation was perfect, very well positioned and well equipped”

Reviewed 10 Sep 2017

The location of the cottage was quiet and secluded but within easy walking distance of the village for evening meals out in the numerous pubs and restaurants and necessary supplies (Waitrose on doorstep). Easy access to Snowdonia National Park and also the more local attractions on Anglesey, including boat trips to Puffin Island from Beaumaris. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the cottage was extremely well equipped, clean and modern.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review. I'm glad you had an enjoyable time and found plenty to do in this area. Best wishes, Mair

Just perfect everything you needed was supplied in the cottage. Great location for exploring Anglessey and surrounding areas. Mr & Mrs Mcgeever were perfect hosts. Would definitely stay again when visiting Anglessey

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your kind review. We're glad you had an enjoyable time. Would be very happy to see you again- and your beautiful bikes- Harley Davidsons what's more. Mair and Mike

“A Fantastic Cottage”

Reviewed 18 Apr 2017

We spent 2 nights at this beautful cottage, using it as our base for a walk up Snowdon. The cottage is truely wonderful, has everything you could need for a self catering cottage and both looks and feels so much like home. The bedroom is excellent with a lovely comfortable bed - perfect for resting a weary body after a long days walking. To be honest I cannot find a single fault. Communications with the owner were also excellent = we've never experienced such good, polite and caring communications. We are so grateful to Mair for everything. When we visit the area again we will definitely be hoping it is free for us to book once again.

“Lovely weekend retreat”

Reviewed 19 Dec 2016

We had a lovely weekend at the cottage. It's in a quiet location but close enough to enjoy a walk into Menai as well a walk over to Church Island. The wine and the flowers are a lovely bonus. Thanks Mair and Michael.

“Charming cottage in Menai Bridge”

Reviewed 3 Oct 2016

Cleverly modified barn conversion. Welsh stone exterior with modern fixtures and fittings. Excellent base for exploring the beautiful island of Anglesey. Everything you need in this cottage, including dishwasher, washing machine, and the most comfortable bed we have slept in. The wine and flowers left by the owner was a very nice touch, especially enjoyed sitting in the beautiful and peaceful garden. We will definitely return!

“Brilliant Accommodation”

Reviewed 18 Sep 2016

The converted coach house is delightful, and Mair and Michael are the perfect hosts. Conveniently located at the entry to Anglesey, the cottage provides an excellent location to explore the island itself as well as the North Wales coastline from Colwyn Bay down to Harlech and the areas around Criccieth and Pwllheli. With Waitress within a 5 minute walk, and excellent restaurants within Menai Bridge - try Dylans for fish and atmosphere - the area is ideal for R&R
