Meillonnas has beautiful old houses made of stone and has a rich history of pottery. The faiences began in the 18th century and there are pieces to admire in the chateau.

Sanciat has the 15th century Calvaire behind my farm and I have the chapel. Sanciat was a wine growing area until it was hit by the disease that wipped out the crop. Now it is a maize growing area and there is a biscuit factory which produces rich butter biscuits in Tossiat.
