Description

Secluded chalet on 17 acres with stocked trout pond and rustic trails. Three bedroom, two and one half baths sleeps eight. Delightful view from 12 by 40 deck over looking picnic area by the pond with fire pit, gas grille, charcoal grille and two picnic tables. Modern chalet built in 2010 with central air and gas fireplace.

Near the quaint town of Jim Thorpe with train rides through the mountains and many tourist attractions. Visit the Opera House or Penn' Peak to see live shows. Also near an indoor water park. Go hiking at Hickory State Park or Lehigh Gorge State Park. White water rafting, mountain biking and paint ball scrimmage is just 1 1/2 miles away. If you are into skiing try Big Boulder or Jack Frost ski resorts just minutes away. Blue Mountain Ski Resort is less than 1/2 hours drive. Then there are Mine tours, Steam Town, 100 store outlet center near by.

If you just want to relax, sit on our dock in the pond and catch a rainbow trout or row around the pont in our row boat. Or just sit by the dam and listen to the music of the water fall. Life is great in the mountains
