From the owner

Come and discover our lovely gite at Le Hameau, situated in the beautiful unspoilt Mayenne countryside, a converted barn surrounded by beautiful gardens and farmland. The Gite combines a blend of traditional beams and stone walls, with modern comfortable internal furnishings. With newly refurbished bedrooms & bathroom, for 2023.

The fitted kitchen, comprises hob, oven, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Fully equipped with toaster, microwave, coffee-maker and everything needed to prepare those 'sumptious banquets'!!

Your separate dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and provides seating for six, leading through to a comfortable sitting room, with traditional wood burner, and English television via 'Freesat'. You will also find a selection of board games and jigsaw puzzles, together with books to suit all tastes and ages.

Stairs lead from the dining area to a small landing, bathroom and two bedrooms.

The family bedroom is furnished with a double and one single, whilst bedroom two has a small double.

There are electric heaters in both bedrooms for those chillier evenings, and a heated rail in the bathroom.

Highchairs and travel cots are available upon request.

Freshly laundered linen is provided, together with bath & hand towels, and beach towels for use around the pool.

Outside there is a patio/dining area, ideal for breakfast in the sunshine. There are also further seating areas to relax in, one of which is under cover, and perfect for watching the Mayenne sunsets. A BBQ is also provided.

You also have your own 8m x 4m heated swimming pool with sun-loungers, with adjacent childrens play area.

The newly planted orchard contains various fruit trees and bushes, including cherry, pear and apple.

There may be fresh vegetables and fruit, subject to availability.

Our 'free range' hens may also provide a fresh egg or two.

Our other residents include two donkeys, Bambino and Annie, plus three goats, Basil, Elsa and Heidi.
