Mobile wireless internet dongle and a mobile phone can be rented and topped up locally as required.

The villa is one of three and shares a spacious garden, swimming pool with loungers, large gazebo with outdoor dining set, laundry facility, barbecue and off street parking. There is also a basketball net to facilitate your entertainment.

The tranquil location is 3 minutes walk to the main road which is a busy bus route and within 5 minutes of a quiet beach. The property is within walking distance to local services including a bar, restaurant and supermarket and is in within walking distance of the busier areas of Oistins and St Lawrence gap.

Smoking in indoor public spaces is no longer permissible in Barbados. Please only smoke on the veranda, gazebo or in the garden.

A fold up bed or travel cot are available on request.

The Barbados region

Maxwell is situated in the Parish of Christchurch in the South of the Island. This is an ideal location for both quiet and action packed holidays as the location is well served by public transport and a short ride away from many restaurants, bars, shopping centres and popular beaches and yet is within walking distance of quieter local beaches, bars, restaurants and shops.

The villas are situated approximately a 5 minute drive/bus ride from a beautiful, un-spoilt beach, a supermarket and petrol stations, and within walking distance of bars, restaurants and mini-marts.In spite of its tranquil location, the villas are approximately 8 minutes from the bustling town of St Lawrence Gap which hosts a range of beach and other activities by day and transforms into the party capital of the island by night. The small town of Oistins is also nearby: a 5 minute drive/bus ride. Here you will find supermarkets, a pharmacy and other local shops. Every Friday night this fishing village becomes the hub of the island famous for its fish fries and ballroom dancing. The Barbados Golf Club is about 10 minutes by car and hosts a 18 hole golf course in beautiful surroundings.The location is ideal for travel by bus. The bus stop, situated at the end of the road provides access to the whole Island. For those who wish to walk, the area is well lit, heavily trafficked and benefits from some pavements (a luxury in Barbados!) If you wish to drive, there are a number of local car hire firms or speak to Angela our property manager.
