Should you wish to travel a bit further, Padstow is just 5 or 6 miles away, and the beaches of Newquay about the same distance. Perranporth is about 12 miles away. The house is located in a recently redeveloped residential area with plenty of parking and just a short drive from local supermarkets and ameneties. Over the summer of 2012 the house underwent extensive renovation, and has been brought up to date as a very modern holiday home easily able to accommodate 8 - 10 people. Comfortable, but with a touch of luxury, no expense has been spared

“Great house with lots of space”

Reviewed 10 Jul 2016

Perfect for our needs. Lots of extras. Good to have a fully equipped utility room with little ones. Would definitely stay her again!

“Smart, modern, high tech well equiped house within easy access to the coast”

Reviewed 8 Apr 2013

We stayed over Easter with 2 families in this beautifully refurbished gadget filled house, highly recommended. The house is on an estate undergoing extensive building works, however no noise issues. A car is needed for access to the seaside and shops. A variety of great beaches nearby.

“Happy Holiday.”

We stayed here at the end of February/start of March and had a wonderful holiday. St Eval, where the house is located, is undergoing something of a re-generation at present so our first impressions were a little negative but once we entered the house we were blown away. The interior has been decorated and furnished to an incredibly high standard, bright and modern with sea-views to the rear. The kitchen/diner was fab, I really loved the coffee machine and was fully hooked on Nespresso by the time we left! The lounge was the star though, a huge telly, PS3, Wii, awesome surround sound system and Sky tv kept us entertained in the evening and I'm sure the garden would also be a lovely place to be when the weather warms up. All the bedrooms had TV's, Blu-ray players and sound systems and had lots of cupboard and drawer space. The location was also great, Padstow was 6 miles in one direction and Newquay about 11 in the other. Mawgan Porth was a 5 minute drive away and our we loved exploring the beautiful coastal walk from there towards Padstow with our little Westie in tow (actually he was towing us!). Watergate Bay was also nearby and we can thoroughly recommend Fifteen, Jamie Oliver's restaurant, where the views were incredible and the food just as good. We also visited Port Isaac, home of Doc Martin, Perranporth, Holywell and Crantock, Polzeath and Rock, all of which had great beaches for walking our dog on. The owner Jacqueline was a pleasure to deal with, she was very quick to deal with all of our enquiries and was extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend this property. It isn't your typical Cornish cottage style accomodation but the facilities and location are first class. The house has plenty of room for a family or two, lots of space to relax and unwind and all the toys, gadgets and gizmos to occupy you if the British weather lets you down!

“Beautiful views, peaceful surroundings and an owner who has made every effort to make our stay enjoyable, fun and relaxing.”

We were lucky enough to be the first ones to stay here. The location is great and easily found. The house itself was beautiful and very clean. The owners were very considerate and accommodating having thought of everything from blu- ray films to spare batteries for the Wii!! Their communication was fantastic and they made everything perfect for our arrival as well as accommodate a last minute change in guests. It was a great experience for both adults and children alike. Horse riding, go karting, a visit to a Japanese garden, Mawgan Porth beach just a few of the things we tried - All within a four mile radius! The only downside being that we had to return home! I would highly recommend this to groups of any age.
