Trulli MaterDomini has a favourable location in the middle of Puglia between the 2 seas: Adriatic and Ionian (both 30 minutes by car) From Trulli MaterDomini you can start some of your day trips by discovering just a few of the wonderful places of Puglia: the Adriatic Coast with its beautiful sea and some of the smaller towns like Monopoli and Polignano a Mare overlooking the coast. The city of Otranto, 150km away, Lecce 100km away. And the Ionian Coast, with Gallipoli at 140Km. A beautiful 18 hole golf course can be found on 40 minutes away. There are excellent walking and cycling opportunities in the nearby area, as well as ruins to visit, wine tours, zoos and scenic drives. You won’t run out of things to do!

“Holidays in Puglia”

I spent a full week with my two young children at the Trulli Mater Domini. The place is really beautiful. The house is very characteristic, charming and cosy. Even very hot days are very pleasant thanks to the nice swimming pool. The owners are very nice and welcoming; you can even have a local lady come and cook delicious meals ( I strongly recommend it) . If I should go back to Puglia I will certainly stay there again. Martina Franca is definitely worth a visit and it is a very good base to see a lot of lovely things nearby. Strongly reccomended!

We had a fantastic week at Mater Domini!! The trulli have been restored to a very high standard and it is confortable, quite and well located. The area has many charming little villages to visit: Alberobello, Cisternino, Fasano, Ostuni, etc and the country site with its many olive trees is beautifull. We can't wait to go back to enjoy Maria's cooking! Carmen
