This historic mansion is situated just above the Kennedy coastal road which stretches along the coastline towards the east of the town, one of the most prestigious addresses in the Phocean city. The view here over the bay of Marseille and the Frioul archipelago is staggering.

You will have the use of the whole ground floor of this superb manor house from the start of the 20th century, as well as the exclusivity of the landscaped garden and the pool. And if you fancy having a dip in the sea, the beach is at the edge of the villa, all you have to do is cross the road.

The apartment has been restored and decorated with sophistication, mixing modern designer pieces with antiques. The contemporary paintings on the walls, the blond wood parquet floors, the superb ceiling mouldings and the soft hues combine to create a serene ambience, elegant and warm all at once.

The huge living space, bathed in light, has a large living room, a corner area for breakfast with a sea view, and a large dining room with a table for 6 people.

A corridor leads to three bedrooms which give onto to the rear of the house and so are quiet, sheltered from the coastal road in front of the property which can be a little noisy. There is a large bedroom with a king size bed and corner boudoir, and two bedrooms with queen size beds with external access. Each one has its own personality and offers great comfort to all guests. Two bathrooms are opposite the bedrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath.

The 12x5m2 pool, magnificent garden, and terraces offer moments of privileged relaxation, in front of one of the most beautiful Mediterranean panoramas out there. A covered terrace allows for lunch in the shade, whereas the terrace in from of the living room is perfect for early evening cocktails…

The entrance to this secure property is a majestic doorway leading straight onto the coastal road. You can park your car inside.

You will feel as if you are at a hotel:

Linens, sheets, and towels are provided. The beds will be freshly made on arrival. Three hours of daily housekeeping is included with the rental, along with cleaning on departure. You will find toiletries in the bathrooms and a gourmet food basket in the kitchen…

Area Description:

The villa is situated in a high-class residential district, above the coastal road that follows the seaside towards the rocky inlets east of the town.

It’s a very popular walk with the people of Marseille, who come to jog, taking advantage of an almost 5km flat stretch with a breath-taking view! You can reach the old port in 25 minutes on foot, or 10 minutes by car.

There are several beaches along the coastal road, along with many restaurants, from high-end (the Petit Nice Passedat) to cute beach bistros. One of our favourite spots is Peron, with its terrace over the waves, which has delicious sea food.

Don’t miss the distinctive Vallon des Auffes, a little port bordered by restaurants and very lively in the evening, within walking distance of the villa.

You will find shops nearby and boutiques on Prado and Perrier avenues, both close by.

Don’t skip going to the magnificent Museum of the Civilisations of Europe and the Mediterranean at Fort St Jean, nor spending the days on the Frioul archipelagos where you can visit the mystical Chateau d'If, before relaxing in the pretty bays.
