Description

Set in the heart of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, Bainfield Lodge is the ideal location to take in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated close to the market town of Louth, with its Georgian architecture. We have a selection of wonderful blue flag beeches for you to enjoy the day by the sea. You can walk straight onto the Viking Way or bring your bikes and take in some of the stunning views, it is ideal for that getaway. We have a village shop, post office and pub in our neighbouring village of Donington. Lincoln city is 30 mins away and is full of life from the Cathedral, Castle & museums to shopping, bars and restaurants. For track lovers we have the famous Cadwell racing circuit and for the golfer we have a section of fantastic greens from Louth, Horncastle and Woodhall spa golf courses or a day at the races in Market Rasen.

Bainfield Lodge is a self-contained home set in the grounds of Bainfield House. Here at home you will find horses grazing in the paddocks, all of whom enjoy a carrot and meet our beautiful black labrador who is always pleased to play ball.

The lodge is decorated in a country cottage style with a double & twin room each with its own en-suite shower rooms. Plenty of secure parking and a lovely patio garden with a bbq for those long summer days.

Interaction with guest

My Husband and I always like to welcome our guest especially if its there first visit However, occasional we may have to leave a key in our secure key box. We are always available to help in any way and are more than delighted to help with travel details, bookings or suggestions of places to visit or eat. We do offer a welcome package either a meal or a start up box, details will be forwarded once a booking is confirmed. We are pet friendly but ask that dogs are not left unattended but should you wish to have a day out or an evening out we do offer a dog sitting service.

House rules

The Space: The property has a set of stairs to the first floor bedrooms, which may not be suitable for guest who are infirm or have a disability preventing them from normal use of stairs.
Dogs are welcome, but respectfully request they are kept off the furniture and out of the bedrooms. They should not be left unattended. We do offer a dog sitting service of £10 per day.Dogs are charged at £25.00 per dog per week. Which is paid in cash on arrival.

Lovely place enjoyed two nights here with friends,clean tidy the most comfy beds I've ever slept in.beautiful place,dog friendly,mel is lovely,highly recommend.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
