Charming & delightful 18th century cottage (formerly The Sun Inn) with accommodation on three floors. Wealth of exposed beams and traditional features with all modren facilities incl. wi-fi access. Located in conservation area of village, very close to Bosworth Battlefield and Mallory Park Race Track. Restaurants, pubs and shops all within walking distance. Four star Visit Britain award. The property is a great place to escape the pressures of modern life.
The south facing property is entered from Main Street along a pretty cobbled garden path passing between Yew trees into a hall with the wide staircase leading to the two upper floors where the roomy ensuite bedrooms are located. The living farmhouse kitchen with inglenook and original exposed beams is entered off the hallway. This room has large French doors leading out to a patio area for leisurely alfresco evenings.

Situated on the edge of the Charnwood Forest area of SW Leicestershire on the border with Warwicks, Sunshine Cottage is in a central location for visits to the historic site of Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre (Richard vs.Henry), Battle Re-enactment held every August, Mallory Park Race Track - for superb motorcycle and car racing plus track events, Stoney Cove championship Diving Centre. The multicultural and vibrant city of Leicester is only 9 miles distant.

The 'Town in Bloom' award winning town of Market Bosworth, with it's first class market day, restaurants and pubs is only 2 miles away.
