Description

Sleeps up to 6.

This cosy terraced holiday cottage has 3 double bedrooms, a dining room (off the kitchen) and a separate Living room which make for reasonably spacious holiday accommodation. The house furniture has a contemporary feel with solid wood floors in the hall and dining/breakfast room area. The kitchen was re-tiled last year and although quite small & old fashioned has everything that you need in it. Outside the Patio Garden is a real suntrap and was re-paved and re-rendered 3 years ago.The bathroom is downstairs & has a shower over bath and basin. There is the wc and small basin on the upstairs landing. There are 2 leather sofas in the Living room . An extra single bed can be requested in the largest bedroom so the room effectively becomes a triple room. Just let me know in advance. There are lots of things to see and do. Historic Lewes, Druzillas Wildlife Zoo, The Downs, Sovereign Harbour Marina and Eastbourne Seafront are all close by. The house was refurbished

The England region

East Sussex / South Coast
Officially the sunniest spot in the UK, Eastbourne was voted Britain's number one holiday-friendly destination in a survey by Virgin Money Travel Insurance.

This award-winning seaside resort nestles at the foot of the South Downs and Beachy Head, with unbeatable walking and cycling to be enjoyed. Located just 25 miles from Brighton, and 17 miles from Hastings, Eastbourne attracts almost 5 million visitors each year.

Marine Parade

The Eastbourne / Town Centre area
Whether you fancy taking in a West End show or concert at Eastbourne's fabulous Bandstand, enjoying a stroll on the Pier, roller skating along the Promenade or even having a go at some water sports, Eastbourne can offer it all.

The charming town Center has a surprising number of excellent Restaurants and a good selection of Shops to while away a few hours – including a Museum of Shops. There is also the excellent contemporary Towner Art Gallery, plus four Theatres, Bars and Clubs.

It's also a family friendly resort – to keep the kids entertained, the Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway, Treasure Island and Fort Fun offer plenty of entertainment, including rides, Crazy Golf and Go-karting, and there are bags of further attractions to visit within the surrounding region.

Our lovely clean, Pebble beach has been featured on TV as exceptionally family friendly. KidzSafe waterproof identification wristbands are supplied free of charge so that parents can tag children with their mobile phone numbers. The Pier offers Traditional seaside Amusements and if you're trying to drag them away, Fusciardi's ice-creams are unsurpassed as bribery!

Eastbourne has something for everyone – whether you're looking for a traditional seaside holiday or a Culture break.

“A neat and tidy and value for money holiday home”

Reviewed 30 Jul 2013

We are a family of 5 (children aged 14,12 and 10) who stayed in Albion Cottage for three weeks this summer. Although the house is in a fairly dense residential area, we found it to be very quiet (apart from the seagulls in the early mornings!) and were able to park our hire car nearby. The seafront is a ten minute walk away and the town twenty minutes, which suited us well. The house itself was well-equipped and provided an easy to use space for us all. Jonathan, the owner, was very helpful and made sure that everything was okay. All in all, we had a great stay and I would recommend this house to families who want value for money accommodation.

Owner's reply: Thanks so much for your review. Just like to say that we have now added a new Memory foam Mattress topper to the middle bedroom bed which has improved the bed's comfort enormously. Thanks Jon
