From the owner

A relaxing, contemporary and luxurious holiday apartment with shared pools in the secure D. Manuel complex, which is ideally situated in the Lagos Marina, fitted with central heating/air conditioning. It is near enough to town to enjoy the great variety of restaurants and shops, as well as savouring the history of this town, but still far enough away not to be disturbed by the hustle and bustle of town.

The Marina itself offers a variety of restaurants and cafés, where you can relax while watching the gentle swing of boats rocked by the sea breeze. The centre of town and its well stocked fish and fruit market are a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Meia Praia beach, with its long stretch of golden sand is also a 15 minute walk from the apartment.

A 10 minute walk will take you to the train station.

There is a large and very well stocked supermarket across the road from the block of apartments, with a small coffee bar, a dry cleaning/laundry service and a florist. There is also a cash machine where you can use your Maestro card.

The apartment is situated on the second floor and is serviced by a lift and secure entrance (with key or safety code).

Our English representative, with many years of experience of this region of the Algarve, will be waiting for you on your arrival to give you the keys (two sets provided) and answering any questions you might have. She will be happy to help you throughout your stay, if necessary.

Upon booking you will be given her mobile number. This number is on WhatsApp. When you are ready to leave Faro airport you are requested to give her a call on this number to let her know you are on your way to the apartment.

- Large living/dining room furnished with leather sofas, coffee table, uplighter/reading lamp, flat screen TV, DVD player, audio player, dining table for up to 8 people;
- Well equipped kitchen with oven & hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and all the small appliances that you might need: toaster, kettle, steam iron and ironing board, electric sweeper, coffee maker, Nespresso coffee maker, citrus juice maker.
- Bed linen and towels are provided; If you do not want to carry beach towels, please tell the owner, because Lauren can now provide the towels for the beach. You are not allowed to use the apartment towels for use at the beach and pool;
- Maid service: the apartment is cleaned before your arrival; bed linen and towels are changed every week, with a further change of towels and quick tidy-up mid-week.

Our guests will be greeted at the apartment by our representative, Lauren Saunders and her team, who will give them the keys to the apartment and explain how equipment, such as air conditioning, works. There is an extra charge for flights arriving in Faro at or after 18:00, which is €30, and for flights arriving after 22:00 is €50. These extra charges are due because during Summer time the representatives work 24 hours a day to host you. These charges are paid directly to the representative and not to Trip Advisor.

Lovely apartment - exactly as described. Great communication from the owner too. For us, ideal location close to the Marina and a short walk to town. Access to very clean gardens and pool a bonus.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Maria (the owner) a message.

If Maria (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
