Family bathroom with separate downstairs cloakroom with toilet and wash basin. Superbly situated in a quiet select area within a few minutes walk to a variety of beautiful sandy award winning beaches,bays and cliff top walks.Very close to Botany Bay, Palm Bay lawns. Easy access to a parade of shops including local supermarket,Post office,Indian & Chinese takeaway, local pubs and restaurants. also excellent bus service and Island hopper to local towns, villages & Canterbury City centre. A very good train service, including a High Speed 140 mph train to London from Margate railway station, ideal for a day trip to London sights.

Light airy modern house. Large L shaped lounge with an area for children to play. A selection of games books and video's and Free View TV for you to enjoy. New bathroom with full size bath and shower Separate downstairs cloakroom with toilet and wash basin We find people are particular about sheets and towels they use so please bring your own.We have electric convector heaters in all rooms which in most situations does provide enough heat. However out of season I would recommend we turn on the central heating for you and charge you for the cost of the gas used, it is a very modern system and works out a lot cheaper than elecrtic heating. Pease let me know what you would like to do as we require a deposit for this service.

We find people are particular about sheets/pillow cases, duvet covers and towels they use so please bring your own. Its necessary to pay 30% non refundable deposit taken at the booking. The remainder to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. If you cancel your booking within seven days of receiving our written confirmation, we will refund the balance of any money you have paid us. After such period, if you cancel your booking more than eight weeks prior to the Arrival Date, we will retain the Initial Deposit and refund the balance of any money you have paid to us. If you cancel your booking less than eight weeks prior to the Arrival Date, we reserve the right to retain the Initial Deposit and the Rental, and refund the £100.00 cleaning/breakage deposit you have paid to us. In these circumstances we will refund the Rental (less any additional costs incurred) to you if we are able to secure an alternative booking for the Property. Payments can be paid ether by cheque or bank transfer. all payments will be confirmed in writing or e mail, a booking will be confirmed only when a payment has been received.A refundable damage/cleaning security deposit of £100 is payable, which will be refunded following inspection within 14 days of your departure.Prices could vary depending on number of people. THERE IS NO BOOKING FEE and we accept euros.

"Nice Holiday House"

Myself and a few friends stayed for a week in this nice house. I would think that it is more a summer house than a winter house since it took some time to get the temperature up when it was windy outside. One of the reasons for this may also be that we found out that there was no central heating, but some portable ovens to heat up the house. But in the summer I can't imagine this to be any problem at all. The £1 electricity meter in the hallway was new to me as a foreigner, but it was all right, although you only got 2 units (2 kWh?) for a pound. (A lot would go to the heating of the house.) The overall experience was good. The house was clean and tidy, there were plenty of kitchen utensils, and cutlery. The neighbourhood is quiet and nice and there's a very short distance to nearest store/cash machine and bus stop which takes you to both Margate and Canterbury. Everything you would want to see is just a bus ride away and we had a fantastic week discovering Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate. Cosy and nice house.

Thank you for your comments The electric coin meter in fact gives 5 kWh per pound and not 2 kWh as you stated. The Meter has been calibrated by the supplier at 20 pence per kWh This is less than we pay for the electricity. We appreciate you arrived in our house in one of the coldest weeks and as a result of your review we will in future offer central heating in the winter periods.
