Refurbished beach-facing one bedroom air-conditioned apartment with WIFI. Sleeps 4. Very quiet in a private complex with 3 pools and gardens. Right on the beach yet in the heart of Marbella, with shops and restaurants at your fingertips. It is on the top (fifth floor) of the building. There are three lifts serving this floor. Please read the many reviews we have from satisfied customers.

PARKING: There is a secure underground car park next to the building. rates start at about 10 pounds a day. There is also free parking on many streets. - however, during the summer months parking nearby can be a problem.

LOCATION and FACILITIES: Very private but right next to the beach. There is an English-run bar/cafe next to the pool area with food and drink served all day for residents only. A lifeguard is on duty throughout the summer months.You can hire a sunbed / lounge chair for the day. There are plenty of shady areas under palm trees or thatched sun shades.

It is true that the Skol Building gets very busy in July and August - it is a victim of its own popularity and the sunbed problem is something the organisation is working on. Perhaps it's revelant to mention that In the Western Med there are two currents - the Levante and the Poniente. The Levante brings warm water from the East and the Poniente brings in cold water from the Atlantic. The cool air carried by the Poniente gives Marbella its unique cool climate compared with the rest of Spain. Sometimes there is a lot of seaweed and the water is cloudy but it is not really dirty or polluted as it is regularly checked by the authorities. Maybe Thailand was in the back of your mind whilst writing this review. We are glad, in any case, that the apartment itself lived up to your expectations.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Philip (the owner) a message.

If Philip (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
