“Well positioned and perfectly comfortable”

My wife and I stayed at the lovely Casa Colina for 10 days earlier this month after a couple of weeks touring Andalucia. It really was a home from home with everything you could need for a relaxing break near Marbella. Good quality fixtures and fittings throughout, complete with washing machine and dishwasher. Air-con units are efficient and quiet and the terrace is a great place to relax after a hard day exploring- yes you do need a car to make the best of the area but it's easy to navigate along the Costa del Sol. The owners are very easy to communicate with and helpful as are the management team at La Heredia. Highly recommended.

“Serenity and comfort”

We selected this apartment from a vast choice available in the area around Benahavís and Marbella. It appeared well furnished and equipped, ideally located on the Ronda-San Pedro road, and the review of a previous tenant was very helpful. The Owners, Tanja and Guy, were prompt with their communications, and but for a brief problem with PayPal (from our end) everything went very smoothly with the booking. Casa Colina is located in the Colinas de Marbella development, and is located above the road level but on the ground floor of the first building. There is a communal pool 50 meters away which was barely used by other residents, but is going to be replaced by a new facility later this year. The terrace of the apartment became the centre of the home, especially for breakfast and in the evenings. However, the superbly equipped kitchen was my wife's favourite, where she could create tapas and raciones from the wonderful local ingredients. Apart from the fresh market in San Pedro, a large choice of supermarkets is nearby. The beach at San Pedro is 10 minutes by car, Marbella 15 minutes, and Ronda 45 minutes away. We used Casa Colina as a base for exploration of the region, and were joined by my brother and his wife for five days of our stay. They originally planned 3, but were so taken by the house and location that they extended their visit. Access is secured by a gate at street level, another gate onto the terrace and the main door or french window on the terrace, requiring three keys to go in and out of the property each time. A fourth key was for the pool access. Nothing against security, but I imagine there are systems today which could simplify this arrangement without compromising it. Tanja and Guy have furnished and equipped their home with quality furnishings and bedding/linens, WiFi, IPTV and comfortable seating. The terrace is also well furnished for sitting out and dining. We have no hesitation in recommending Casa Colina as a rare gem which provides location, comfort and true value.
